Checkout did not go as expected. Did check out on a holiday (labor day) and wanted to pay cash. However the person at the front desk did not know how to do it and I have to get my card charged, which was very bad for personal reasons.

Walls in the room were stained and water damage in the bathroom on the walls under the vanity was extremely visible. The bed sheets had a few dark stains on them and on the nightstand closet to the bathroom, mold was growing in between the top and the side trim...I was surprised by the room vs. the cost. The Keurig and coffee did not look fresh, the Swizzel sticks paper was removed, my remote to the tv did not work and the complimentary bar of soap - the seal was broken.

Not that I am judging, but the amount of non-attending hotel guests occupying the front benches in the valet area and glass turn styles inside the lobby was a bit dismaying. Also, the elevators did not work at all. I ordered two scramble eggs and the chicken apple breakfast sausage at Texas Spice. The waiter was nice, the eggs were uniformly yellow (liquid eggs I presume) and the chicken apple breakfast sausage looked like a piece of Eckrich sausage from the 80's cut lengthwise. It was cold. For the $20.00 I ate three bites of eggs and had a cup of coffee. - totally unacceptable for the amount. Not upscale at all. Extremely disappointed on the price of food and lack of healthy choices. Most of the furniture in the various lobby areas were very work looking and frayed. It looked as though things have just been neglected. I asked several staff members about eating options locally and they referred me to the concierge who was not present at the desk. The valet was nice, when I turned in my valet ticket, I tipped generously but when the other guy brought my car around, he had his hand out...I let him know I had already tipped- super weird!

There was a snacks bar with couple of Granola bars and mini muffins in the name of breakfast with some coffee and juice. The staff was really rude when we were having breakfast there, asking us not to take '10 bars' when we took only three for ourselves (me, my wife and my son). Not a kid friendly place at all. The electrical wires was out in the open. The plug points did not work properly. The cloth hangers did not work properly. There were not many towels in the room.
