  Everything was perfect. Liz and her husband have a real gem. They are the inn keepers, owners and take great pride in there motel. The location could no be more perfect. You are looking at Pikes Peak. You are 5-10 minutes from Old COS, zoo, broadmoor, Garden of the Gods is directly behind the motel. Make 2 rights and you are in the park. The room is spotless. She was so helpful to us with suggestions as they have lived her for 40+ years! I can not say enough good things about this little motel. I loved it!

  Right off the bat, excellent, people friendly staff, smooth check-in. Room was really nice and clean. Only thing not correct was 2 beds vs King bed. Good coffee in room. Nice Hot breakfast and friendly staff in the morning too.

  The staff at the front desk was friendly. The lobby is clean

  The person who checked me in charged me for parking after I responded that I didn't need parking. When I was checking out, the lady noticed it and said she would refund it. I couldn't sleep most of the night due to the noise (a persistent tapping/hammering at night, door slamming, lots of door knocking). The mattress was also very hard. Most of the room was clean enough. But there was lots of black mildew in a corner of the shower.

  The body wash was empty and when I texted a staff member, no one came to fill it. Those “let us know if you need anything” must be bots. Definitely make sure the soaps are refilled. Had to use the hand bar soap. Also, I wish the breakfast was a little longer. I like to sleep in but it would be nice if breakfast is until at least 10:30 am.
