  The location was great. The staff was friendly and the other guests had a calm vibe. No loud elevators or neighbors. Our room was cozy and clean with simple amenities. Our room was serviced efficiently. Public transit and community parks were very close by. We frequently stopped in a Zabar’s for breakfast, and brought it back to the hotel lounge to dine.

  This hotel was nice. Breakfast staff were outstanding, constantly refilling the line, cleaning up after customers, and overall just great. We didn't see much options for relaxing, sit down breakfast in the area. So, the complimentary bfast was nice to have. The hotel has an indoor pool and hot tub. It also has a fire pit in a fenced patio out back.

  The hotel did not have "extra" pillows. Our queen sized bed came with 4 fluffy pillows. This is not a downside for most travelers though.

  Breakfast eggs need improvement. Off taste and weird texture. Are those real eggs? No half and half for the coffee, only CoffeeMate, (which is chemical poison) or whole milk. The front desk staff was always in conversation with other staff members at the front desk. This was odd and uncomfortable. They need to be focused on checking people in, not carrying on conversations with maintenance or cleaning employees and acting like you are interrupting them when you check in. This was also the case every time I left and came back. The only time it didn't was when I checked out early in the morning. .
