- “Great location! The proprietors Olav and Brigitte were fantastic hosts. We rode our bikes on a terribly rainy day, and they assisted us with our baggage and even cleaning the bikes off too. The room was excellent - first class linens, and great bathroom products. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic too - we enjoyed a nice sampling of yogurts, meats and cheeses. We even got to sample several of the cheeses that Brigitte sells in her store. Arcen is a quaint beautiful little town, and La Dominette is right in the center. Wonderful restaurants are within a 50 meter or less walk. This is an outstanding B & B - one of the very best we’ve ever stayed in!!”

The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, the plumbing is high-quality, and the beds are comfortable.   This property is clean, well located and easy to access. It is also quite quiet in light of the location. We also found the staff very friendly, approachable and helpful. Will be back!

  Downtown location, the bed was comfortable enough, and it was decent. The staff was nice.

  Homeless screaming outside the window, the room was dirty in some places, no good maintenance of the room, some guests were rude to us, we didn't feel safe sometimes.

  Friendly staff and close to the area’s we were exploring.

  I didn’t like that I chose a balcony and didnt realize the building was so close to the other building so basically if you opened the balcony door you could hop over to the next building. Kind of scared me so we kept it locked. No view of downtown and even if we wanted to sit outside there was no chairs.

  When I walked into the room it smelled so bad of mold. Every time you walked in the room the mold smell smacked you in the face. The worst part was the beds. They were hard as rocks, it would’ve been more comfortable to sleep on the floor. I didn’t sleep well at all, couldn’t get comfortable and the other bed in the room was the same way. I couldn’t wait to leave. It was by far the worst beds I’ve ever had to sleep on. Everything in my body hurts. I tried to use the pillows to make it more comfortable, that didn’t work. It was just so bad, it literally felt like you were sleeping on a bed of rocks. On a side note, the parking is absolutely horrible, too small and too tight of a fit.
