I didnt like that 6&7 do not have wifi and i didnt like that sum of the rooms wasn't decent enough. And i did like that sum of the tv wasn't hooking up to HMI device's. And then i also didnt like the that some of the housekeeper do not properly clean the right way. Also i didnt like that the night time staff that he was rude and that he couldnt help me out when i had a problem with my room.

Nothing everything about this stat was horrible.
There was no smoking rooms, the room wasnt even fully clean there was markers between headboard and bed that wasnt mine so not even sure what was cleaned before my stay other then bed was made. U guys said free breakfast but as I was loading my plate with food I was told I couldn't get anymore because other people still needed to eat. Keep in mind I weigh 90lbs and it was 8:45am breakfast ends at 9am your telling me that that many other hotel customers are gonna come in within 15mins. Thats just ridiculous. Who does something like that I paid $94 for a ghetto dirty room that u guys couldn't even provide a couple of bottle waters in the fridge or let the 90lb woman get a plate full of food. U should all be ashamed of yourselves. First time at a hotel and u guys ruined every aspect of my stay. I would have been better off sleeping in my truck for the night. My suggestion, if this is your only option sleep in your vehicle instead atleast you'll save yourself $100.

Conveniently located and has friendly staff.
Room was very dated. Upon arrival, we noticed tub/shower didn’t drain and the sliding door to the bathroom was stuck and wouldn’t close. They sent an engineer up to fix both but it took him a long time to get the work done and they had to send housekeeping up to clean up the mess afterwards. The housekeeper complained and used so much clorox that it gave us headaches.

“So welcoming and comfortable from the minute you enter. All of the staff were really friendly and helpful. Our room, although on the small side was really comfortable and spotlessly clean. The shower was great and the supplies toiletries were lovely. The bed was comfy, and there was a hanging rail for clothes and a hairdryer. The USB charging points by the bed were useful too. The bar / breakfast room is great, the brewery themed decor was really well done. Speaking of the breakfast, it was on par if not better than some I've had in 4 or 5 star hotels. The scrambled eggs were THE BEST I've seen on a buffet - light and fluffy unlike the tasteless, watery offering you often get! The staff at breakfast are so accommodating and helpful, and extremely on the ball with clearing tables. The location is good, the road at the front is busy but we couldn't hear anything from our room. The train station and city centre are a 10-15 minute walk away, I'm sure there are buses but we didn't bother. We had travelled by train and arrived hours before check in time and asked to pop our bags in their secure luggage room, but to our surprise were told our room was ready so we were able to freshen up before heading off to explore. We've stayed in York multiple times over the last 8 years, at least once a year and this is by far my favourite place that we have stayed in. I have paid much more to stay in far inferior hotels! (But please don't put the prices up, we want to come back ;-))”

“I really enjoyed my stay. The cottages are new, it's clear they were built recently. They are within walking distance of the hotel. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, the plumbing is high-quality, and the beds are comfortable. It's also very nice that there are automatic blinds on the windows, so you can sleep in complete darkness in the morning. Additionally, each cottage has a shared kitchen.”
