Mission Inn was a great little Get Away spot for us. It's on a major street, but still feels pretty cozy inside the property. We liked the free breakfast that was described as Continental but was quite a bit better than most Continentals in terms of foods to choose from.

The cleanliness the fact I had to walk outside with children at night just to find our room. There were stains on the crib bed and sheets.

Breakfast menu was okay; IMO the wait staff was unfriendly. I said "good morning" to a staffer; no response. Rude. Also, IMO, the dining area was dimly lit, smelled musty, and the temperature was too chilly. I selected a few items for breakfast and returned to my room to eat.
I did not like: 1. I detected a "musty" smell as soon as I entered the lobby. 2. The carpet in my room was frayed and dirty. 3. The chair in my room was soiled, dirty. I did not sit in the chair.

The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, the plumbing is high-quality, and the beds are comfortable. It's also very nice that there are automatic blinds on the windows, so you can sleep in complete darkness in the morning. Additionally, each cottage has a shared kitchen.”
