I recommend visiting the Sylvia State park. There was a path around the lake all very beautiful. I enjoyed swimming in the lake, but only recommend it for others if the water is back up.
breakfast options were too limited. TV needed instructions. No view, just in a nicely renovated garage.

Everything was what I expected, and the staff was exceptional. Good clean and comfortable room. Breakfast was standard issue and served the purpose with quality food offered.
The WIFI was a bit on the slow side but functional. The driveway for the hotel was a little tricky to find but was located on my second try.

No pillows the bed was not comfortable at all . Literally getting my things out the car and the cops swarms the hotel tells me I can’t go in my room until they leave . Couldn’t use the elevator without stepping in dog(animal) urine.

I didn’t like that the hotel itself is very outdated . It looked better in the picture than the actual place . When you walk in the room smelled musty and like cigarettes . There wasn’t good lighting . The plumbing needed to be fixed in the bathroom . Overall it needs some remodeling and better cleaning.

Location, price, Easy check in/out. Safe parking, ice/vending machines, mini fridge. options if I needed anything else.
Rooms need an update, especially the bathrooms. Cleaning crew can only do so much. It’s a Red Roof, it’s meant for travelers mostly, but nice enough for tourists. Thankfully I was traveling alone, though the room had two beds.

The place is just dirty. Doesn’t seem to be any janitorial service going on. Blinds in our room were mostly missing and you could see right in room

“So welcoming and comfortable from the minute you enter. All of the staff were really friendly and helpful. Our room, although on the small side was really comfortable and spotlessly clean. The shower was great and the supplies toiletries were lovely. The bed was comfy, and there was a hanging rail for clothes and a hairdryer. The USB charging points by the bed were useful too. The bar / breakfast room is great, the brewery themed decor was really well done. Speaking of the breakfast, it was on par if not better than some I've had in 4 or 5 star hotels. The scrambled eggs were THE BEST I've seen on a buffet - light and fluffy unlike the tasteless, watery offering you often get! The staff at breakfast are so accommodating and helpful, and extremely on the ball with clearing tables. The location is good, the road at the front is busy but we couldn't hear anything from our room. The train station and city centre are a 10-15 minute walk away, I'm sure there are buses but we didn't bother. We had travelled by train and arrived hours before check in time and asked to pop our bags in their secure luggage room, but to our surprise were told our room was ready so we were able to freshen up before heading off to explore. We've stayed in York multiple times over the last 8 years, at least once a year and this is by far my favourite place that we have stayed in. I have paid much more to stay in far inferior hotels! (But please don't put the prices up, we want to come back ;-))”

“I really enjoyed my stay. The cottages are new, it's clear they were built recently. They are within walking distance of the hotel. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, the plumbing is high-quality, and the beds are comfortable. It's also very nice that there are automatic blinds on the windows, so you can sleep in complete darkness in the morning. Additionally, each cottage has a shared kitchen.”
