Missoula, Montana
Location was great for a late night or early morning flight, due to the hotel's proximity to the airport. I appreciate the the Big Sky Brewery was right out the back door. Staff was friendly, and if you would like to leave your car at the hotel during your trip, the cost was significantly cheaper than airport parking.
At no fault of the hotel, there are not dining options that are in the area. A short travel will get you too many restaurants. Overall a great spot, I would like to know the backstory of the dog statues in the lobby.
Rockaway Beach, Oregon
The bed was quite comfortable and we really enjoyed the kitchen. There were plenty of towels in the bathroom. The view from the dining room was decent. We were very happy with the cleanliness of the home. We enjoyed the sectional sofa where we could both hang out and watch our iPads.
Every one of the storm doors are in disrepair. We would have liked to open the downstairs back door to hear the ocean. The hot tub is in bad shape and unusable. The driveway is treacherous and I damaged my car on the paved wall trying to park. The sand causes the tires to spin, preventing proper parking in the flat area at the top. Please let people know about the steepness of the driveway. The plastic chairs on the porch outside of the kitchen are broken except for one. We were unable to get the tv in the living room to work. There are 6 remotes and no instructions in the visitors book about how to use the equipment. The ice maker in the refrigerator doesn’t work. The door and storm door that leads to the upper deck are both broken and don’t lock. We put a chair under the doorknob to prevent unwanted people from entering.

The location, atmosphere, cleanliness, and friendliness of the staff were exceptional! I chose The Tommie for a little one-night, solo getaway, and it was great. The lobby, bar and pool area were phenomenal, very chic.
The ONLY mild disappointment was the size of the room for the cost. I knew the rooms were tiny, I just didn't know they were THAT tiny! It was wonderfully laid out for the space — the design and amenities were amazing — but the toilet sharing the same tiled floor as the shower drain reminded me of my time aboard a sailboat. LOL. Definitely more of an NYC-sized room with the same big pricetag.

The staff were super kind and friendly. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. We were only a few blocks from the action on Bourbon Street.
The only complaint would be the pillows were lumpy.

The room, a standard king, was comfortable, well equipped, and charming. We especially appreciated having a pool for a dip in the heat.
Tips: If you normally go barefoot indoors, bring house slippers until the wood-grained vinyl flooring gets a deep scrub. And if you like complicated rain+massage shower setups, you'll enjoy the shower; if you don't, give yourself extra time and put on your reading glasses to decipher the written directions and near-invisible knob markings. The "Head" knob is also the on/off. And the TV remote instructions are in the back of the room directory folder.

“So welcoming and comfortable from the minute you enter. All of the staff were really friendly and helpful. Our room, although on the small side was really comfortable and spotlessly clean. The shower was great and the supplies toiletries were lovely. The bed was comfy, and there was a hanging rail for clothes and a hairdryer. The USB charging points by the bed were useful too. The bar / breakfast room is great, the brewery themed decor was really well done. Speaking of the breakfast, it was on par if not better than some I've had in 4 or 5 star hotels. The scrambled eggs were THE BEST I've seen on a buffet - light and fluffy unlike the tasteless, watery offering you often get! The staff at breakfast are so accommodating and helpful, and extremely on the ball with clearing tables. The location is good, the road at the front is busy but we couldn't hear anything from our room. The train station and city centre are a 10-15 minute walk away, I'm sure there are buses but we didn't bother. We had travelled by train and arrived hours before check in time and asked to pop our bags in their secure luggage room, but to our surprise were told our room was ready so we were able to freshen up before heading off to explore. We've stayed in York multiple times over the last 8 years, at least once a year and this is by far my favourite place that we have stayed in. I have paid much more to stay in far inferior hotels! (But please don't put the prices up, we want to come back ;-))”
