Exceptional Stay from Start to Finish From check-in to check-out, our stay at Stayover Suites was nothing short of exceptional. The front desk staff were incredibly cordial and informative, making us feel welcome right away. Housekeeping and maintenance teams were equally friendly and accommodating, always greeting us with a smile. The continental breakfast exceeded expectations, offering a great variety—from hot breakfast items to convenient grab-and-go options like yogurt and muffins. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. We’ll definitely be booking with Stayover Suites again the next time we're in the Ft. Lee area!

Very clean. Our room was on the third floor. It was small and didn’t have a closet or hangers. They compensated with a few wall hooks. The location was good with a bit of a walk to downtown. One recommendation would be to heat the pool.
Pool was cold.

It was clean and had a well stocked snack area. I also enjoyed swimming in the pool and my daughter enjoyed being able to use the treadmill.
The beds were a little uncomfortable.

The location is very convenient to the interstate and to a variety of stores and restaurants.
Even though the front desk stated our room was non smoking and required me to sign a form stating I was receiving a nonsmoking room and stated if we smoked in the room, we would be charged an additional fee, my husband and I do not smoke nor have we ever, the room smelled like an ash tray. It was very late when we checked in so we did not request a room change. I did make a point of letting the front desk know about the status of the room when checking out so we would not be charged any additional fees. I will not be returning to this location in the future but booking at a different hotel when traveling through the area.

Good location, rooms clean, nice staff, inside Starbucks and inside restaurant.
Extra charges for parking space, parking area is trash, smells like weed, people in their cars at night and at all times walking around or smoking just looks suspicious, people walking around blocking parking spaces I find it scary. Kids running on halls nocking on doors.phone did not work in my room. Breakfast not included unless you pay extra. House keeping opens the door early before checking out, checkout is at 11 opens the door at 9am. Pool is small and dirty.

There was 1 worker who finally got us into a clean and decent room
1st room was terrible , dirty beds , flies and fruit flies everywhere stunk so bad , second room had at least been cleaned but it smelled so bad of animal urine that we had to go buy plug in air fresher , the door broke and we couldn't access our room without staff the 3rd room was decent after 4 days of dealing with filth , we will never stay again

“So welcoming and comfortable from the minute you enter. All of the staff were really friendly and helpful. Our room, although on the small side was really comfortable and spotlessly clean. The shower was great and the supplies toiletries were lovely. The bed was comfy, and there was a hanging rail for clothes and a hairdryer. The USB charging points by the bed were useful too. The bar / breakfast room is great, the brewery themed decor was really well done. Speaking of the breakfast, it was on par if not better than some I've had in 4 or 5 star hotels. The scrambled eggs were THE BEST I've seen on a buffet - light and fluffy unlike the tasteless, watery offering you often get! The staff at breakfast are so accommodating and helpful, and extremely on the ball with clearing tables. The location is good, the road at the front is busy but we couldn't hear anything from our room. The train station and city centre are a 10-15 minute walk away, I'm sure there are buses but we didn't bother. We had travelled by train and arrived hours before check in time and asked to pop our bags in their secure luggage room, but to our surprise were told our room was ready so we were able to freshen up before heading off to explore. We've stayed in York multiple times over the last 8 years, at least once a year and this is by far my favourite place that we have stayed in. I have paid much more to stay in far inferior hotels! (But please don't put the prices up, we want to come back ;-))”

“I really enjoyed my stay. The cottages are new, it's clear they were built recently. They are within walking distance of the hotel. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, the plumbing is high-quality, and the beds are comfortable. It's also very nice that there are automatic blinds on the windows, so you can sleep in complete darkness in the morning. Additionally, each cottage has a shared kitchen.”
