Victoria and the manager went over and above to meet my requests and get me an early checkin. Also followed up to make sure everything was up to speed. Staff is always great to talk to. The pool areas were immaculate as was everything else. Don't tell anyone as I want this to be my secret hideaway.
That I had to leave and load the car with all the stuff my wife bought at the thrift stores with our casino winnings. I can usually find something that could be better but this trip everything was perfect. Keep it up as I will be back.

Breakfast was okay but not really impressive. I liked the space in the room. The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean.
Breakfast could have included a little more fruit and was looking forward to sausage but it was absent both mornings. Eggs were very late arriving, as was the orange juice. Yogurt would have been nice. Didn't see any hot water for tea or cocoa, which I would have liked as I don't drink coffee. Since it appears there is a $10 charge per breakfast, I was expecting better. There were lots of construction workers staying and breakfast supplies needed replenishing which caused for longer delay in having food available for breakfast.

It’s new
They charged me a few times after they had already been paid still waiting on money back to be returned. They told me 9 to 10 days very upsetting. We did a back to back booking. Took care of this on site day before still was contacted the next day by housekeeping saying we had to check out, even though after we talked to the front desk .

When we left
Staff was rude. Kept insisting on how I use the waffle mix. Turns out it was 1 hard as a rock in the nozzle. 2. The nozzle was broke. After he finished it he tried to give me a tutorial on how to fix the hotels waffle mix container. I told him thats your job. I dont work here. The room wouldn't cool off. I asked could we switch rooms because ours was hot. He said he couldn't do that. I attend Jeff Coty a lot for business. I will not be returning to this facility

“So welcoming and comfortable from the minute you enter. All of the staff were really friendly and helpful. Our room, although on the small side was really comfortable and spotlessly clean. The shower was great and the supplies toiletries were lovely. The bed was comfy, and there was a hanging rail for clothes and a hairdryer. The USB charging points by the bed were useful too. The bar / breakfast room is great, the brewery themed decor was really well done. Speaking of the breakfast, it was on par if not better than some I've had in 4 or 5 star hotels. The scrambled eggs were THE BEST I've seen on a buffet - light and fluffy unlike the tasteless, watery offering you often get! The staff at breakfast are so accommodating and helpful, and extremely on the ball with clearing tables. The location is good, the road at the front is busy but we couldn't hear anything from our room. The train station and city centre are a 10-15 minute walk away, I'm sure there are buses but we didn't bother. We had travelled by train and arrived hours before check in time and asked to pop our bags in their secure luggage room, but to our surprise were told our room was ready so we were able to freshen up before heading off to explore. We've stayed in York multiple times over the last 8 years, at least once a year and this is by far my favourite place that we have stayed in. I have paid much more to stay in far inferior hotels! (But please don't put the prices up, we want to come back ;-))”

It’s in a peaceful area on the outskirts of Amsterdam, with a tram station just 5 minutes away. Important tip: at Materhonne tram station, don’t follow Google Maps, as it shows a 24-minute walk. Simply cross the street toward the hotel and you’ll be right there.”

“I really enjoyed my stay. The cottages are new, it's clear they were built recently. They are within walking distance of the hotel. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, the plumbing is high-quality, and the beds are comfortable. It's also very nice that there are automatic blinds on the windows, so you can sleep in complete darkness in the morning. Additionally, each cottage has a shared kitchen.”
