2nd floor unit was clean and consistent with the pictures. The kitchen was fairly well equipped as we cooked nearly all meals. BBQ grill close by, but one of the grills was disabled. Picture on this review is the grill and parking area from the front door. Lanai is fully shaded until mid afternoon. Plenty of parking. Quiet, you don’t really hear the traffic on Poipu Road. Good for a couple, and maybe 2 kids. Would be very cramped for 4 adults. Kiahuna Beach looked a bit rough for swimming, so we drove the 3 minutes to Poipu Beach just because it was easier with beach chairs and umbrella. The pool, gym, and hot tub are across the street at the Poipu Beach Athletic Club. Walkable, but in the heat it was better to drive there. Nice, especially for small kids. There’s a big kiddy pool area with a coarse sand bottom. They don’t allow outside food or drinks as there’s an on-site restaurant. The pool closes at 7 pm.
The king bed was on the soft side, sheets were loose and tended to bunch up. Did not like the scented detergent used on the bedding. The AC doesn’t do a good job of cooling the bedroom as the head is in the front of the living room. We opened the louvers during the day and just turned on the AC at night when the breeze dies down. Overhead fans work well.
Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina
I liked the ease and location of the room , I request a handicap room as there are things that make my life easier to manage. Room 110 is a good room , that is comfortable. I only was in it in the evening to relax and sleep. As I was working during the day. The counter with the chairs is beneficial to do any last minute work.
First , for being a handicap room , there are no vital important safety bars in the restroom and shower. A shower seat and bar would make the room a high function for disabled. Second the pillows are too small for someone that needs to be more upright as I do , to sleep. I tried to pile them up to make them work and actually ended up sleeping in the chair 2 nights with my own blanket. A warm blanket option would be nice . I have learned to bring my own. Third TV selection I think is severely lacking, most are added payments required . There are no local channels offering news and things to do. A music channel would be great as I use that to sleep. Overall the John Yancy has been my go too hotel when I lived in the OBX I always recommend it

Great location, within walking distance to every thing in the French Quarter. Beautiful gardens and the room was exceptional and very quiet.
Teton Village, Wyoming
GREAT VIEWS FROM THE FRONT AND BACK. The food on site was great (only had breakfast) and friendly staff.
South Holland, Illinois
Grounds were manicured and overall outdoor appearance was great.
One elevator needs attention and carpeting, at least on the fourth floor, was in need of shampooing or replacement.
Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
All the amenities and the cats that hang around the resort.
Was under construction and could have done a better job cleaning up

North Pier Hotel
“We stayed one night at North Pier Hotel and were pleasantly surprised by the warm hospitality and thoughtful service. Check-in was smooth and quick, and the staff went above and beyond-helping us with our bags and offering helpful advice about the room. Our accommodation featured two spacious king beds and a bath tub, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The coffee provided was excellent, a small touch that made a big difference to our morning. The location is ideal, just steps from the beach and close to local cafes and shops. Highly recommend for a comfortable and welcoming stay!”

ibis Styles York Centre
“So welcoming and comfortable from the minute you enter. All of the staff were really friendly and helpful. Our room, although on the small side was really comfortable and spotlessly clean. The shower was great and the supplies toiletries were lovely. The bed was comfy, and there was a hanging rail for clothes and a hairdryer. The USB charging points by the bed were useful too. The bar / breakfast room is great, the brewery themed decor was really well done. Speaking of the breakfast, it was on par if not better than some I've had in 4 or 5 star hotels. The scrambled eggs were THE BEST I've seen on a buffet - light and fluffy unlike the tasteless, watery offering you often get! The staff at breakfast are so accommodating and helpful, and extremely on the ball with clearing tables. The location is good, the road at the front is busy but we couldn't hear anything from our room. The train station and city centre are a 10-15 minute walk away, I'm sure there are buses but we didn't bother. We had travelled by train and arrived hours before check in time and asked to pop our bags in their secure luggage room, but to our surprise were told our room was ready so we were able to freshen up before heading off to explore. We've stayed in York multiple times over the last 8 years, at least once a year and this is by far my favourite place that we have stayed in. I have paid much more to stay in far inferior hotels! (But please don't put the prices up, we want to come back ;-))”

Hotel Fogo Amsterdam
“The hotel was excellent, clean, comfortable, and quiet. Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Mustafa, who went out of his way to make the stay memorable. It’s in a peaceful area on the outskirts of Amsterdam, with a tram station just 5 minutes away. Important tip: at Materhonne tram station, don’t follow Google Maps, as it shows a 24-minute walk. Simply cross the street toward the hotel and you’ll be right there.”
Apart House A4 Wrocław
“I really enjoyed my stay. The cottages are new, it's clear they were built recently. They are within walking distance of the hotel. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, the plumbing is high-quality, and the beds are comfortable. It's also very nice that there are automatic blinds on the windows, so you can sleep in complete darkness in the morning. Additionally, each cottage has a shared kitchen.”
