The property had lots of great furnishings and things for the beach. Wonderful wide open space. Very clean and private. Easy access. Great spot of you’re a walker. Convenient to shops and beach by car or a few blocks walk. Nice big shower.
There is really no outdoor space, but for the price, that was OK with us. No beach view. Suggest washcloths and tissues in the unit.

Everything was ok. The room was great. The colors of the hallways I loved. The pool was awesome. Bigger than most. The activities you could do was a plus. Mini putt putt..shuffle board ECT.
We got a king size room with a balcony. The shower and tub however was smaller than most. You can't move without bumping something. So if you are a bigger person not ideal. Went to breakfast there at the restaurant. Wonderful food great waitress. However... and this is a biggy for me....the young lady who took us to our table only said one word to us when we walked in..."how many?" After that she grabbed the menus and started walking away. Didn't say anything like "this way" or "follow me" it felt like she had an attitude or just didn't want to be there. Felt very rude and standoffish.

“So welcoming and comfortable from the minute you enter. All of the staff were really friendly and helpful. Our room, although on the small side was really comfortable and spotlessly clean. The shower was great and the supplies toiletries were lovely. The bed was comfy, and there was a hanging rail for clothes and a hairdryer. The USB charging points by the bed were useful too. The bar / breakfast room is great, the brewery themed decor was really well done. Speaking of the breakfast, it was on par if not better than some I've had in 4 or 5 star hotels. The scrambled eggs were THE BEST I've seen on a buffet - light and fluffy unlike the tasteless, watery offering you often get! The staff at breakfast are so accommodating and helpful, and extremely on the ball with clearing tables. The location is good, the road at the front is busy but we couldn't hear anything from our room. The train station and city centre are a 10-15 minute walk away, I'm sure there are buses but we didn't bother. We had travelled by train and arrived hours before check in time and asked to pop our bags in their secure luggage room, but to our surprise were told our room was ready so we were able to freshen up before heading off to explore. We've stayed in York multiple times over the last 8 years, at least once a year and this is by far my favourite place that we have stayed in. I have paid much more to stay in far inferior hotels! (But please don't put the prices up, we want to come back ;-))”

“I really enjoyed my stay. The cottages are new, it's clear they were built recently. They are within walking distance of the hotel. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, the plumbing is high-quality, and the beds are comfortable. It's also very nice that there are automatic blinds on the windows, so you can sleep in complete darkness in the morning. Additionally, each cottage has a shared kitchen.”
