The Oxbow is an ideal location for us in downtown Eau Claire. The area is beautifully updated for easy walking, biking and enjoying outdoor spaces. The Oxbow has a wonderful restaurant on site and there are great restaurants/coffee shops/bars close by. Also easy to bring our dog when we want. So comfortable and ideal for us!

Big clean comfortable room. Around the hotel was very clean all staff very professional.
Bar closes early, and ordering food isn’t 24/7.

We arrived very late at night and the person working the front desk was very nice.
We stayed on the second floor. The hallway has an overwhelming smell of mold. The room is very moist.

It was conveniently close to the strip.
No amenities like they promised, they gave you a code by phone instead of a physical key card to enter your room, zero toilet paper, mildew smell, no where to sit besides the bed, leaky faucets and horrible customer service that you can't quite understand. I asked for partial pay when I called because me and my parents only stayed one night because of how horrible the condition of the room was. Didn't even bother taking a shower because of how contaminated it was. We were planning on staying from Friday till Sunday but only stayed one night and found a much better hotel. I'd like to get some of my money back please and thank you.

Location is very good; breakfast was only coffee which was good.
Window A/C is right next to one bed so that person is freezing while others in the room are hot. Lots of little ants itn the kitchen area. Shower has two steps up and then down. Not safe in my opinion.

The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, the plumbing is high-quality, and the beds are comfortable. It's also very nice that there are automatic blinds on the windows, so you can sleep in complete darkness in the morning. Additionally, each cottage has a shared kitchen.”
