This is an interesting old victorian house with an interesting interior. Location is great, you can walk to coffee shops and some restaurants on the main street. Employee was nice and they have a cool house dog Lucie.
Comfort of the room was far below my expectations. After reading all the reviews I expected something much better. But it still feels like an outdated hostel. Although it has a very interesting interior, it's quite old. I have to admit, they maintain it pretty well, it's clean. But it doesn't feel comfortable, at least our room with dormitory beds and a stair to a bathroom. Service is also at the hostel level, not the hotel. You will have just 1 big towel, no small towels for hands/face. Cheap synthetic bedding also doesn't help to feel comfortable at night. Maybe my expectations were too high because of the high rating. If you think of it as a hostel, you might have better impressions.

The location was perfect especially for visiting ONP. It was convenient to the local grocery store, restaurants and more. We loved the cabin feel and even though it was right on highway 101 it was very quiet inside.
My only complaint would be that barn doors are not conducive in small places like these as they do not close tightly like a regular door to give one full privacy.

The only day that went well was my beach day with my wife.
Checked in room floor was soak, called to change room after waiting for 2 hours for maintenance. It’s was my 50th birthday hotel reception did not offer me any discounts for inconvenience. Second room smelled like it was smoked in before we arrived, called hotel lobby and complained dis not care at all.

Did not try breakfast because it was $25 each. The receptionist was not very helpful when we checked in and gave us no information. They did not inform us that parking costs which is insane. It’s $25 a night to park your car at your own hotel in a very gross parking garage.

The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, the plumbing is high-quality, and the beds are comfortable.
