New York, New York State
Great place! I usually like to diversify and try different hotels in New York, but this time I returned here thanks to 'Tiffany'. Her professional service, warm attitude, and the fact that she even recognized me from a previous stay made me feel truly valued. The entire reception staff are courteous, skilled, and always there for you with a smile and positive energy, doing everything to make you feel at home. The doormen, security guards, and logistics team are also friendly, attentive, and always ready to help – creating a genuinely welcoming atmosphere. From my extensive experience, this level of service is rare in New York. I haven’t encountered anything comparable, not even in the most famous luxury hotels of Manhattan. Of course, the facilities themselves deserve mention: the sparkling cleanliness, the unique design, and the excellent location. I am already looking forward to returning again soon!

The location was great. There were some eateries right outside the hotel. They are closely located to downtown and other attractions.
Their snacks were way overpriced. For example, $4 for a bottle of water 😳

“So welcoming and comfortable from the minute you enter. All of the staff were really friendly and helpful. Our room, although on the small side was really comfortable and spotlessly clean. The shower was great and the supplies toiletries were lovely. The bed was comfy, and there was a hanging rail for clothes and a hairdryer. The USB charging points by the bed were useful too. The bar / breakfast room is great, the brewery themed decor was really well done. Speaking of the breakfast, it was on par if not better than some I've had in 4 or 5 star hotels. The scrambled eggs were THE BEST I've seen on a buffet - light and fluffy unlike the tasteless, watery offering you often get! The staff at breakfast are so accommodating and helpful, and extremely on the ball with clearing tables. The location is good, the road at the front is busy but we couldn't hear anything from our room. The train station and city centre are a 10-15 minute walk away, I'm sure there are buses but we didn't bother. We had travelled by train and arrived hours before check in time and asked to pop our bags in their secure luggage room, but to our surprise were told our room was ready so we were able to freshen up before heading off to explore. We've stayed in York multiple times over the last 8 years, at least once a year and this is by far my favourite place that we have stayed in. I have paid much more to stay in far inferior hotels! (But please don't put the prices up, we want to come back ;-))”

“I really enjoyed my stay. The cottages are new, it's clear they were built recently. They are within walking distance of the hotel. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, the plumbing is high-quality, and the beds are comfortable. It's also very nice that there are automatic blinds on the windows, so you can sleep in complete darkness in the morning. Additionally, each cottage has a shared kitchen.”
