The beds were comfortable, the staff brought fresh towels everyday. The room was clean and location was great. My little girl accidentally put a hole in the bathroom door. My husband went to the front desk and offered to pay. They told us it was not a problem and maintenance would take care of it. The price for our stay was great.
There was no microwave , the room needed some updates.

I always opt to stay here when I visit the area ♡ It's clean, a short walk to the beach, and have their own parking area. Breakfast is simple and really all you need to get your day started!

Very comfortable stay in a wonderfully diverse NYC Brooklyn neighborhood with a very gracious host.
My timing coincided with a huge local event that created a lot of noise and congestion, even by NYC standards. I’d love to explore the neighborhood again when it’s in its day to day vibe.

Cops around everywhere, people banging on our door at 10pm yelling for us to open, maintenance cleaning carpets at 10pm, loud footsteps overhead and non stop barking dogs as well as cops patrolling everywhere

The room needed to be cleaned. Very damp and black mold on the ceiling. The bathroom door would not shut. The elevator was not working.

It was a horror story. When we checked in, we were greeted by a rude front desk. I thought she was only having a bad day, but our horror adventure in the hotel has multiplied exponentially because of her rudeness.To begin with, the 1st room that was given to us was dirty. Then we were transferred to another room where the bathroom lights and telephone were not working. We had to use our cp Flashlight to use the bathroom. I asked for a supervisor or manager, but her rudeness became worse. She was unapologetic also. However, she did send a maintenance in our 2nd room. Since the maintenance was in our room, I used the 1st uncleaned room to go to the bathroom. I was locked for over 45 minutes. I knew that I wasn't supposed to use the restroom in the other room, but given the circumstances, I had no choice. (Both 1st and 2nd rooms were in the 4th room of a separate building. The restroom lobby was far.) Instead of helping us with our uncomfortable accommodation, the rude front desk became so unprofessional by giving me a look. To make the story short, we stayed there for 2 nights, but the bathroom light didn't get fixed. We were also having a problem with our room keys and have to go to the front desk. On top of that, I saw a couple of guests having issues with their room keys, too. In fact, I spoke with them, and they, too, have horror stories to tell.

“So welcoming and comfortable from the minute you enter. All of the staff were really friendly and helpful. Our room, although on the small side was really comfortable and spotlessly clean. The shower was great and the supplies toiletries were lovely. The bed was comfy, and there was a hanging rail for clothes and a hairdryer. The USB charging points by the bed were useful too. The bar / breakfast room is great, the brewery themed decor was really well done. Speaking of the breakfast, it was on par if not better than some I've had in 4 or 5 star hotels. The scrambled eggs were THE BEST I've seen on a buffet - light and fluffy unlike the tasteless, watery offering you often get! The staff at breakfast are so accommodating and helpful, and extremely on the ball with clearing tables. The location is good, the road at the front is busy but we couldn't hear anything from our room. The train station and city centre are a 10-15 minute walk away, I'm sure there are buses but we didn't bother. We had travelled by train and arrived hours before check in time and asked to pop our bags in their secure luggage room, but to our surprise were told our room was ready so we were able to freshen up before heading off to explore. We've stayed in York multiple times over the last 8 years, at least once a year and this is by far my favourite place that we have stayed in. I have paid much more to stay in far inferior hotels! (But please don't put the prices up, we want to come back ;-))”

“This is one of our favorite B&Bs of all time. The communication with Carla was outstanding and she is very friendly and helpful upon arrival. Inside, the space is immaculate and spacious. The bed is one of the more comfortable we've ever had, and the innovative breakfast delivery system is very convenient. The breakfast is plentiful, varied, and delicious. The outdoor space allocated to the B&B is manicured with fruit trees and a nice seating area. Parking is right by the entrance. Very conveniently located for our needs connecting with local family. Just a perfect place to stay.”

“I really enjoyed my stay. The cottages are new, it's clear they were built recently. They are within walking distance of the hotel. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, the plumbing is high-quality, and the beds are comfortable. It's also very nice that there are automatic blinds on the windows, so you can sleep in complete darkness in the morning. Additionally, each cottage has a shared kitchen.”
