St. Augustine, Florida
We arrived at 4:30 pm there was no one there, there was no staff no nothing. I received a text wanting my id and to know the make and model of my car another text was sent with room number and code to enter the room. Room was on the second floor at the end of the hallway and it was very dark, extremely uncomfortable- we opened the door and just a sense of heaviness and still very uncomfortable I sent a text to the number and explained that I was very uncomfortable and the number called me and said sorry no refunds I got off the phone and told my husband I couldn’t stay I was that uncomfortable so I texted the number and told them we were leaving we were there less than 10 mins. I booked with another hotel 20 mins away…..

Eric, at the front desk, very helpful, upon our arrival, due to my problem with food poison on my flight from SF, Eric, offer immediate help to bring luggages to our room, and offer further assistance if we need all other employees in the front desk stop short of offering extra assistance, as well as the porter, when we asked for directions to Pike Market, they seemed to be so busy helping with cruise traveller than a normal traveller, restaurant staff did excellent work with food and services, right on the spot, Sai at the bar was especially attentive and helpful.

The Inn was in a convenient location with easy in and out parking right across from a car wash. The hotub was large, hot, and clean. The beds were not the best a little too soft for my preference but the linens were clean. Overall it was a decently appointed room.

It was initially a bit confusing as to how to get to the lobby from parking garage, but we figured it out.

“So welcoming and comfortable from the minute you enter. All of the staff were really friendly and helpful. Our room, although on the small side was really comfortable and spotlessly clean. The shower was great and the supplies toiletries were lovely. The bed was comfy, and there was a hanging rail for clothes and a hairdryer. The USB charging points by the bed were useful too. The bar / breakfast room is great, the brewery themed decor was really well done. Speaking of the breakfast, it was on par if not better than some I've had in 4 or 5 star hotels. The scrambled eggs were THE BEST I've seen on a buffet - light and fluffy unlike the tasteless, watery offering you often get! The staff at breakfast are so accommodating and helpful, and extremely on the ball with clearing tables. The location is good, the road at the front is busy but we couldn't hear anything from our room. The train station and city centre are a 10-15 minute walk away, I'm sure there are buses but we didn't bother. We had travelled by train and arrived hours before check in time and asked to pop our bags in their secure luggage room, but to our surprise were told our room was ready so we were able to freshen up before heading off to explore. We've stayed in York multiple times over the last 8 years, at least once a year and this is by far my favourite place that we have stayed in. I have paid much more to stay in far inferior hotels! (But please don't put the prices up, we want to come back ;-))”

Breakfast is good, the other food is very standard but their kitchen is tiny and they were super honest and suggested where else we could eat which was appreciated! Really exceptional place, staff, location - everything!”

“This is one of our favorite B&Bs of all time. The communication with Carla was outstanding and she is very friendly and helpful upon arrival. Inside, the space is immaculate and spacious. The bed is one of the more comfortable we've ever had, and the innovative breakfast delivery system is very convenient. The breakfast is plentiful, varied, and delicious. The outdoor space allocated to the B&B is manicured with fruit trees and a nice seating area. Parking is right by the entrance. Very conveniently located for our needs connecting with local family. Just a perfect place to stay.”

“I really enjoyed my stay. The cottages are new, it's clear they were built recently. They are within walking distance of the hotel. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, the plumbing is high-quality, and the beds are comfortable. It's also very nice that there are automatic blinds on the windows, so you can sleep in complete darkness in the morning. Additionally, each cottage has a shared kitchen.”
