The property is located close to Main Street so I could walk to all the scenic locations, bakeries, restaurants, and wine tasting. All the people are so nice and inviting. And, I really love that people were so considerate of my service animal. Solvang is such a nice town, I enjoyed learning about its history and the architecture is like out of a fairytale. I will definitely visit again.

Just a few things. The first morning, I had to take a cold shower, as no hot water. But, the staff addressed it quickly and had hot water that evening. And, it was noisy when trying to sleep until about 1 to 2 am. I think it's because the room was located next to a bar and the fireplace seating area of the Inn.

Love the free parking, the staff was friendly and helpful when walking around checking out the property. Love the different food and sweets options that stay open late. Appreciate the free valet parking!!

The rooms don’t offer microwaves so it’s inconvenient if you’re bringing in left overs etc. pool closes early so if you’re out all day and come back you don’t get a chance to swim or enjoy the hot tub. We found fries on the floor under the bench when we moved it to use. Easy to look over but definitely should be caught when cleaning. We left for the morning around 10 and expected to come back to the room cleaned and new towels (or at least new towels) and came back to no housekeeping. Had to call front desk and ask for more towels.

Location was good. The gardens are very nice and the views are terrific! They have some firepits that are located right outside and they are very welcoming and comfortable.

I am a contractor so I notice the condition of the places we stay and this one sorely needs a remodel, or at least an update and some regular maintenance. Honestly, the room's furnishings looked like thrift store rejects. Mismatched, worn and frankly just beat up. There was no dresser in the room so we used the couch to hold our bags and didn't unpack. The carpet in our room was frayed, gross and dingy. The bed was well rutted with a well worn wicker headboard that creeked and cracked all night. The cabinet the TV was on had water damage like it was in a flood. The bathroom was just dank. The tub had some nasty brown caulking from some years back and a fan that probably kept the neighbors awake. I had to reset the sliding closet doors before we could open the closet. The front door had a big gap at the bottom and our balcony sliding door was a ritual to lock. We loved the patio but there is no privacy so you'll be making friends with the neighbors if you want to enjoy the views. There is a restaurant on the propery that went out of business about year ago and frankly looks haunted. The pool was just as disapointing. Oh and don't forget you can pay $35 dollars more to check in 1 hour early (3pm) or $48 dollars to check out 1 hour later (12pm).

It seemed out dated. The rooms had carpet that didn’t feel so clean.

The pool was nice.

The air conditioning didn’t work very well and it was hot at times during the day. It would cool down eventually but then stop working. It wasn’t turned all the way down. The overflow drain in the bathroom sink didn’t work either.
