Infinity pool is nice. Kitchen has nice setup. Beds are clean and has solid framing to cut down on noises when climbing up and down the bunk. Location is very convenient and so near to Muscle Beach to make working out easy. It's so nice that margaritas are complimentary for guests.
Kitchen is always filthy. Refrigerator is always packed with spoiled food and nothing can be found. Trash is full sometimes. Crumbs are always all over the countertops and floors. Cooking equipment always dirty. Coffee for the guests is based off of one 10 cup pot so coffee is always empty and it's never announced when it's out. Creamer has to be asked for every time I go for coffee. One of the ladies at the front desk with a plumpy face is rude. You can tell which one is nasty.

The perfect getaway! The host was exceptional, the home had plenty of space, and everything was exactly as described. If I’m ever within 50 miles of this property, I’d happily go out of my way just to stay here again.

“So welcoming and comfortable from the minute you enter. All of the staff were really friendly and helpful. Our room, although on the small side was really comfortable and spotlessly clean. The shower was great and the supplies toiletries were lovely. The bed was comfy, and there was a hanging rail for clothes and a hairdryer. The USB charging points by the bed were useful too. The bar / breakfast room is great, the brewery themed decor was really well done. Speaking of the breakfast, it was on par if not better than some I've had in 4 or 5 star hotels. The scrambled eggs were THE BEST I've seen on a buffet - light and fluffy unlike the tasteless, watery offering you often get! The staff at breakfast are so accommodating and helpful, and extremely on the ball with clearing tables. The location is good, the road at the front is busy but we couldn't hear anything from our room. The train station and city centre are a 10-15 minute walk away, I'm sure there are buses but we didn't bother. We had travelled by train and arrived hours before check in time and asked to pop our bags in their secure luggage room, but to our surprise were told our room was ready so we were able to freshen up before heading off to explore. We've stayed in York multiple times over the last 8 years, at least once a year and this is by far my favourite place that we have stayed in. I have paid much more to stay in far inferior hotels! (But please don't put the prices up, we want to come back ;-))”

“I really enjoyed my stay. The cottages are new, it's clear they were built recently. They are within walking distance of the hotel. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, the plumbing is high-quality, and the beds are comfortable. It's also very nice that there are automatic blinds on the windows, so you can sleep in complete darkness in the morning. Additionally, each cottage has a shared kitchen.”
