Easy access floor level suites available. Great kitchenette and large refrigerator! Pet and Service Animal friendly! Perfect walk to the Beach!
Booking.com and Oyo digital interface is glitchy and it delayed my check in as the staff had to make several calls and waited for new confirmation emails on a previously confirmed reservation. Also this is not an “extended stay” property, though Oyo and Booking.com will allow a 30 day reservation to be made! BUT the actual allowed length of stay is 7 days and then move rooms. If you need an extended stay at this location you need to make arrangements directly with the Oyo local staff before reserving on Booking.com

Comfy beds, location near entries to beach and all that downtown has to offer. The breakfast options were fun with a lot of variety.
Stuffy with the unexpected heat- a fan was provided but I was glad I also brought one from home.

The check in process was fast. The bed was firm and looked cleaned.
The room felt more like a $40 roadside motel than a proper hotel. Instead of a key card, you’re given a physical house key. Both the microwave and mini fridge had to be plugged in upon arrival, which was inconvenient. The bathroom was especially disappointing—the faucet handle was literally just a screw, and the door was a flimsy closet-style door poorly hung, making it difficult to slide open and closed. On top of that, the toilet drained extremely slowly. Overall, the room was poorly maintained and far below expectations.

Owner is non-responsive and unhelpful, would not respond to a simple question for over 6 weeks, had to get the booking fraud department involved. The location is not as tranquil as they claim, it's in a parking lot surrounded by ugly rusted storage containers. And if you miss your time in prison, you'll be happy here. They will send you a very long list of rules, and threaten you with $1,000 fine for any violation. Way beyond the normal no party thing. You can't have fish, can't wear makeup. If you take one step off the driveway, they will find you $100.

The room was an affordable price! The room was super clean! You could smell the cleanliness as you walked in. The only strange thing was that all the surfaces in the room were sticky as if whatever cleaning product they used was causing the stickiness. I love that the room was spacious and that shampoo and body products were available for use. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The breakfast was great. I also liked that they had a workout room. The parking was packed with cars. It was hard to find a parking spot.

“So welcoming and comfortable from the minute you enter. All of the staff were really friendly and helpful. Our room, although on the small side was really comfortable and spotlessly clean. The shower was great and the supplies toiletries were lovely. The bed was comfy, and there was a hanging rail for clothes and a hairdryer. The USB charging points by the bed were useful too. The bar / breakfast room is great, the brewery themed decor was really well done. Speaking of the breakfast, it was on par if not better than some I've had in 4 or 5 star hotels. The scrambled eggs were THE BEST I've seen on a buffet - light and fluffy unlike the tasteless, watery offering you often get! The staff at breakfast are so accommodating and helpful, and extremely on the ball with clearing tables. The location is good, the road at the front is busy but we couldn't hear anything from our room. The train station and city centre are a 10-15 minute walk away, I'm sure there are buses but we didn't bother. We had travelled by train and arrived hours before check in time and asked to pop our bags in their secure luggage room, but to our surprise were told our room was ready so we were able to freshen up before heading off to explore. We've stayed in York multiple times over the last 8 years, at least once a year and this is by far my favourite place that we have stayed in. I have paid much more to stay in far inferior hotels! (But please don't put the prices up, we want to come back ;-))”

“I really enjoyed my stay. The cottages are new, it's clear they were built recently. They are within walking distance of the hotel. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, the plumbing is high-quality, and the beds are comfortable. It's also very nice that there are automatic blinds on the windows, so you can sleep in complete darkness in the morning. Additionally, each cottage has a shared kitchen.”
