Staff were very polite and helpful. They got us 2 fans for our room and tried to find us a charger for our phone. Lovely property with beautiful flowers growing everywhere. Some off street parking was available. Our room, 108, was a deluxe king room on the upper floor. It had a high ceiling and way more storage than we knew what to do with. There was even an extra little room with a sink, magnifying mirror, and cushy chair for me to do my makeup. Very nice recently renovated room with a comfortable bed and plenty of fluffy pillows. There was a spiral staircase taking you to this level. Please note there is no air conditioning, which in Carmel is rarely needed. Breakfast is very basic - hard boiled eggs, toast, coffee. There was enough to get us going. We would definitely stay here again.

I just wish someone had opened the windows in our room before we arrived. It was extremely warm when we entered. Only one set of windows opened as the others were trapped behind the headboard of the bed. They gave us fans and the room eventually cooled down.

Very clean, building looked really nice. Nice friendly staff that were helpful with questions of places we were planning to go. Central to the city, places around to get food. Close to Met Life stadium which was the reason we traveled.

Location was kind of sketchy. Parking lot was kind of small. Our room was right next to the elevator shaft and you could hear the elevator all night long.

Checkin was a nightmare, it took about half an hour with all of us stuck in the lobby in a long line, seemed like some system had an issue where they didn’t know which rooms were ready so I had a lot of sympathy for the staff who were trying their best Also couldn’t find info on parking, turns out the private open-air lot across the street is fine but you just need to pay per day or hour.

Just needed a squeegee for the patio as the air conditioning produced a lot of water and the broom provided didn’t cut it. Kitchen facilities were great but a dish rack and toaster would have been appreciated.

The room was in a basement. It felt damp, the entire time. It also smelled of mold/bleach. My husband had a hard time breathing. There were no windows and the bed was very hard/uncomfortable. The price was extremely too high for what we paid for. I would not recommend this place to anyone

Ease of access to the Motel and the view from our rooms was gorgeous! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Very clean! Simple to maneuver around in the room. Everything needed was provided. Room was far enough off the highway so no traffic noise.

The A/C and Heat unit was VERY difficult to read. Buttons on the front down toward the floor, words were tiny and a little smudged. Never got a truly desired setting . Suggest perhaps an enlarged photo of settings would be helpful. Privacy curtains could not totally come together and close. We had to use some hair clips to bring them together. A minor detail to remedy, however huge detail concerning privacy.
