The location is also perfect if you have bikes, as it makes it easy to explore the beautiful surrounding beaches. It’s just a shame the villa was available only for one night, because we would have loved to stay longer. Highly recommended!”

- “These are small but practical bungalows directly at the beach. Two or three bungalows are directly seafront, the remaining ones are behind, with a side sea view. Anyway all of them very close to a beach in a beautiful garden with high trees. During our stay the tide was low during mornings when the water goes back a few hundreds of meters and the tide was high in the evening with convenient swimming in the water. The staff is very friendly and will give you detailed information about the accomodation and island. The bungalows are small but convenient and well working. There's a private bathroom in the bungalows. The bed was pleasant with perfectly clean sheets. The location is very convenient. It's easy walking distance from the port and center, still it's in very quiet natural place. The food court is also very close. We enjoyed our stay here very much.”

  What I did like were the friendly staff, vaulted ceilings, quiet atmosphere, comfy beds, reliable internet, and the waffles at breakfast. I also appreciated that the hotel is pet-friendly, even though I wasn’t traveling with an animal.

  We stayed here as a family with our toddler and found the experience to be just okay. The water pressure in our room was inconsistent and it often took about 20 minutes of running the tap before the water warmed up. The pool area was also a bit disappointing, with no towels available and a ceiling above the hot tub that appeared to be rotting. In our room, the AC filters were completely full of dust, which wasn’t very comfortable. Amenities felt pretty basic — the TV only offered standard cable, the coffee came from a machine rather than fresh-brewed, and while breakfast was edible, the overall quality was quite low. The elevator was also very small, fitting maybe four people with luggage at most. Overall, the hotel served its purpose, but I’ve stayed at more well-kept places for the price.

  The Westgate’s location in Tudor City is ideal for watching the US Open and to be away from Times Square. It’s also ideal for work at the UN or just being in a central location for about everything.

  The room was dark and dreary. The only window looked out onto 3 concrete walls with very little light coming in. Thank goodness we didn’t spend much time in the room except for sleeping and showering. Also, we had 2 rooms reserved. I had requested the rooms to be on the same floor, the young man told me we checked in too late to get them both on the same floor. It was only 6:00 p.m. and I had booked about a month out. The gentleman that checked us out was very nice. He was much more customer oriented than the check in guy.

  They overcharge you for whatever. I’ve been charged twice for self-parking + valet and I had to call 3 times, send 2 emails and finally text with 3 individuals to eventually get reimbursed. Just crazy, they don’t care at all and make their problems yours without any embarassment.
