  The room and facilities were clean and comfortable. The decor and ambiance was pleasant. The servers at the restaurant were friendly and efficient.

  The front desk was unmanned when I arrived, and I waited for a while before looking for other staff members to ask where was the front desk staff. Eventually the front desk person returned from helping other guests. From my overall interactions at the front desk, I expected a higher level of professional training for the front desk staff from a hotel of this level. $18 parking fee per night

  Only chose this location because of the pool, and it stated 80° for water temp. After walking/hiking all day in Harper’s Ferry, we were looking forward to a good relaxing swim. When we got there we couldn’t even swim because the pool was freezing, close to 60°. Would not have chose this hotel if I knew that as pool-less hotels elsewhere were cheaper and closed. Vending machine didn’t work, put in dollars and it automatically spit out change instead of letting you buy anything. Front desk had candy to sell.

  I was here visiting my husbands family and to celebrate his birthday. It wasn't the cleanest dead insects on the table in the lounge area, and the chairs need shampooing, which smells sweaty and like nasty dirty hair. Also, every LaQuinta I have ever stayed in had a dispenser in the bathroom shower filled with amazing smelling body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. There's nothing like that at this hotel.. We got a very small bottle of shampoo and one tiny bar of soap. No maid service and fresh towels are upon request. The hotel store shelves and vendor machines were empty, so if you left any personal hygiene items, you were out of luck. There was a small breakfast, eggs nasty and watery. I will probably not stay there again.

  The staff was friendly, hot breakfast, and the room was clean. The location was perfect. We walked directly across the street to the public beach and pier for the day and then walked to all boardwalk at night. You don’t have to fight the traffic. We loved the free bike and kayak rents. We can’t wait to come back in a few months.
