  Overall beautiful room with a beautiful view of a forest in the back. The private back yard deck was awesome, maybe put some chairs out there? The bed was ultra comfortable and we got great rest. We liked how quiet it was in the neighborhood and how accommodating the owner was. He was very kind and quick to help us get into the room early even though he wasn’t prepared or aware of it because of booking.com’s mistake in communicating that with him. The kitchen is huge and shared between the renter and the owner. There’s a grocery store and gas station about a 4 minute drive away making any last minute grabs easy and quick.

  Booking.com was horrible at communicating with the owner. According to the owner booking.com did not share that I needed an early check in, even though they sent me a confirmation email about it saying he was aware. That all resulted in a big delay on us getting in after our overnight flight that we needed a lot of rest from. It would be nice if the posting for this rental could be more obvious that it is in someone’s house, not a hotel. There was no bar soap in the room, not sure if that’s because he let us in without the room being fully ready cause of the miscommunication or if that’s how he normally stocks it.

  The hotel was very roomy, clean, good bath amenities. The staff was very friendly. Definitely would stay there again. The price was good, location very good. A few minutes from restaurants etc. Conveniently located near the Irving Convention Center.

  I love that it was on the beach and we had an ocean view with the balcony so we can open the door to listen to the waves

  Paid just shy of $200 simply because of location during off season! there were quite a few things that were updated but things that were completely skipped over TVs are tiny the pull-out couch I swear is broken or just extremely generic it was very painful but of course that's where we wanted to sleep because we wanted to listen to The Waves all night and wake up to the sunrise there's a fancy mirror in the bathroom but the cabinets in the little kitchenette area are ancient and we're kind of gross the tub was not very nice either the toilet seat was so old it had the paint worn off of the top where the lid closes on the balcony you can see a part of the building is cracking away I took pictures but people were partying all night not just being noisy with the TV and talking but literally running around and music so loud bass going I think I finally called the office at about 3:00 a.m. to complain and for how many rooms there are there's definitely not enough parking they definitely did not do a very good job cleaning the place

  This is not something which we didn’t like but if there is something the hotel wants to change then I would say that they can make the breakfast area a bit bigger because when a few people want to have breakfast at the same time then if becomes a bit crowded.

  The location, and the hotel was nice. The area is beautiful and I would love to explore more next time.

  The receptionist.. I originally booked 2 rooms through booking.com and the price was 228 then when I got there I learned the rooms were not conjoined so I asked to just go down to one room because I had my kids with me and did not want them all the way down the hall.. for one room it was 175 because of that I would have thought the price would drop more then 53 dollars. So I feel like for 50 dollars more I should have just kept the 2 rooms but the lady was confused it seemed and did not help to accommodate me in any way.. then I asked her for extra bedding seeing has I was now gonna have 4 more bodies in my room and she acted like I wouldn't be able to and when she did give me bedding it was sheets.. no blanket no pillow nothing and she told me there was no more left...?? so I was not happy with all that.
