From the moment we stepped in, the staff at Rui welcomed us and made our stay such a memorable one! This was our first time to NyC and we brought our adult disabled son. The staff went out of their way to help if needed and were always so smiling and helpful! the room size was bigger than I thought for NY, and the beds were incredibly comfortable! Perfect location for anything you want to do! I can’t wait to come back!

Typical hotel breakfast, which is pretty much the same throughout all hotel chains at this mid-level pricing. At least the food was at appropriate temperatures. The room was clean, for the most part. The morning staff at my check out time was very friendly, as was most of the staff working the food service.

There was only light roast coffee in the cafe area. I had to walk out into the lobby if I wanted dark roast or decaf. Seating is arranged so that some people can get "trapped" in their seating if they are near the window. Although the seating area is limited, it seemed that an improved seating arrangement can be made. I didn't like the lack of smoker's stands around the side doors. The smoking area in front also seemed to be set so as to force guests to walk through smoke when entering and exiting the front door.

Kitchenette was cute and perfect for what I needed. I had been camping, so I had food to use up, and definite need for a shower and soft bed. I felt like it was my home for the night. All the comforts.

There's road noise that's a bummer. I would have gotten in the pool and the whirlpool but they weren't heated. Spa came on at 5 -9 pm and a family was in it for the prime time. I realize it's expensive to heat them.

Restaurant was very good! The property was well kept and clean. I was actually a pleasantly surprised as I had never stopped in Tuba City before.

As with most hotels, the heat/ac unit was a little noisy. Not enough to bother my sleep, however. Great pillows This was important as I forgot my special pillow at home and was worried I’d wake with a painful neck.

Cleanliness was frankly terrible - sheets/bedding was unclean and clearly used, there was a leak in the ceiling that was shoddily patched up and leaked when the floor above was using water, the 'couch' that was meant as the 3rd pullout bed was disgusting, covered with burns and suspicious stains and there was mold all over the bottom of the shower. Truly disgusting and unsafe
