  I live just 25 minutes across the river in Washington State, but now and then I come to Portland and stay the night with my wife for special occasions. Of the hotels we've stayed at this has been my favorite. The price was reasonable, the room was spacious and comfortable, and it was perfectly situated next to some great restaurants and bars. We had a wonderful stay and the staff even gave my wife a bottle of prosecco for her birthday with a note. This was not expected and very much appreciated. I would happily stay again.

  Location was INCREDIBLE!! We loved being <5 min walk from our favorite beach on the island. Huge fridge, full sized couch, fast wifi, clean, comfortable fluffy pillows for a good night’s sleep! Super nice and large washer/dryer. Amazing beach amenities provided! Loved having chairs and a boogie board. Cute table and chairs on the patio!

  Zero sound privacy - we could hear every sound/word from the family in the main house and im sure they could hear us too. It was also pretty dark so you really had to get outside to enjoy the day.

  Rooms were good size. Continental breakfast was great with warm egg omelettes, sausage, pancakes, juices. Pool was clean with plenty of seating around to sunbathe. We’ll be staying there every time we go to SPI.

  The Sugar Factory service was below average. Food was pretty good. We never got served 1 day.

  The bathroom set up with the sliding door to the shower and the toilet was strange and Very noisy.The sinks were next to the beds. If someone got up in the middle of the nite to go to the bathroom, the running eater in sinks and the toilet door would wake everyone up. It needed remodeling. Been to quite a few Hard Rocks and this one was below average. The food and service at the Hardrock Cafe was good. When we went to the computer room to print our boarding passes, the printers wouldn't work. They called IT and he printed them off his laptop.
