- “So welcoming and comfortable from the minute you enter. All of the staff were really friendly and helpful. Our room, although on the small side was really comfortable and spotlessly clean. The shower was great and the supplies toiletries were lovely. The bed was comfy, and there was a hanging rail for clothes and a hairdryer. The USB charging points by the bed were useful too. The bar / breakfast room is great, the brewery themed decor was really well done. Speaking of the breakfast, it was on par if not better than some I've had in 4 or 5 star hotels. The scrambled eggs were THE BEST I've seen on a buffet - light and fluffy unlike the tasteless, watery offering you often get! The staff at breakfast are so accommodating and helpful, and extremely on the ball with clearing tables. The location is good, the road at the front is busy but we couldn't hear anything from our room. The train station and city centre are a 10-15 minute walk away, I'm sure there are buses but we didn't bother. We had travelled by train and arrived hours before check in time and asked to pop our bags in their secure luggage room, but to our surprise were told our room was ready so we were able to freshen up before heading off to explore. We've stayed in York multiple times over the last 8 years, at least once a year and this is by far my favourite place that we have stayed in. I have paid much more to stay in far inferior hotels! (But please don't put the prices up, we want to come back ;-))”

  Staff was nice. Lots of parking. I thought I had notified the hotel that I had pets but I guess I forgot. The staff member quickly checked to make sure they had a room available, which they did. I was very grateful for this because I just spent the last 8 hours driving and wanted to rest. They charge a refundable deposit and I was able to get this back.

  When I got to the room, it looked clean but after further inspection, the blankets and pillow cases were dirty, floor felt slippery and I killed 2 roaches within 10 minutes of just getting into the room. After seeing those things, I refused to sleep under the covers. So I slept fully dressed with my hoody and headphones in and got up 3 hours later. My aunt had a roach fall in her ear canal and get stuck. New fear unlocked. I want to stress that the staff is nice.

  The hotel is excellent. It’s located in the best spot — right in the very center, on the first line with a beautiful view of the bay and the ocean. Clean, cozy, comfortable, and with nice breakfasts. They even called us and offered early check-in, which was very convenient and pleasant. A solid five stars for this hotel.

  Location was perfect, view was great, staff was so kind, friendly and helpful! Shuttle back and forth to town was quick and simple, but sometimes we even walked it, it wasn’t too far! Breakfast was amazing! Rooms were great, pool was nice too!

  My stay was great up until the last day. Check out is at 11 but I had cleaning staff knocking on my door shorty after 10 asking if I was leaving. I told that I will leave at 11 because that is the check out time. They then proceeded to circle around my door like vultures waiting for me to leave. It was inappropriate and uncomfortable.

  The bed was so uncomfortable, I was awake every hour. I was so exhausted at the time of my 5:00 AM checkout, I forgot my laptop. I had to drive back to the hotel from Chicago to retrieve my laptop because management stated I needed to pick it up in person. The Desk clerk, Jeremy was very helpful, but the person who was supervising him could not come up with a solution except for me to come back and pick up my laptop in person, a 1200, mile drive

  The breakfast was simple yogurt, granola and delicious muffins. The room was comfortable and we loved the patio/balcony. There were 2 minor issues with the room, but we were taken care of by Nicky, the morning manager.

  I liked the beautiful lake views and how peaceful it was. I also liked how it's only a few minutes away from West yellowstone. And I also like how clean everything was.

  The wifi was terrible and didn't work in my hotel room hardly at all. It only worked when I went outside and the cell service was also spotty. I also didn't like how you can hear anything happening outside your hotel room cuz the walls are not insulated. Also the restaurant was closed for the 2 days that I was actually staying there. And the hot water didn't get hot enough.
