  My wife is short, and the bed is high, but we carry a step stool with us when we travel so it was not a problem for her to get in and out of the bed.

  Loved the location. Enjoyed the beach bar, pools, beach chair service. The rooms were ok as well.

  The room floors were tile and very sandy. The door to the rooms had space around the bottom allowing these little gnats to get in. Had to put a towel down to block the space. Bed was hard as a rock. I had to request maid service every day. Even when I asked to have daily service at check in I still had to inquire daily. The food was not good at all. We ate off premises after the first day. Best food items were the beach bar nachos. The location, beach, pools made us overlook the negatives.

  Staff members. Very disappointed we normally stayed here most of the holiday weekend. But this time is horrible. Usually I got room upgrade . This time my room wasn’t ready yet even I checked in @ 9 pm . The AC not working . Glass table was broken. Working table has all ice cream . I contacted front desk and their response was horrible. The lady name Susan , she said ok just hang over that broken glass to maintenance. Maintenance guy, John even called them and said the room wasn’t ready yet. I asked that lady if possible we can have different room ? She said yes but will be lower grade !!!! And go get all your stuff and back to front desk ! I gt back to her and she just handed me the different room key . NOT EVEN 1 sorry from them ! One guy was there too when I checked in , no name tag so idk the name . I asked him isnt I need the paper for car permit ? He said oh it will be 9$ per night . Then he said is that your first time here ????? What a bad customer service and horrible. They treated me like I was bugging them for free room !!! We decided not to go back there anymore since we gt treated like trash .

  The carpet had stains. Pool and Jacuzzi was not available at the location. Check out on booking stated at 12 but I get a text stating that check out was at 11. The fan that was provided was dirty. No housekeeping provided. No bunk bed and bed. We got a bed and another bed. The TV did not work properly. Shower is small. Door bottom strip came apart.

  I really enjoyed the DeClif Hotel in Pismo Beach The atmosphere at the hotel was amazing The service was above and beyond is truly special I have been to many hotels but I felt this was a hotel that gave me more of a homely feeling and took care of everything The hotel is very clean Maybe the pool is a little too small but I was there during the long weekend so maybe that's the reason but the hotel is amazing
