The shower was great and the supplies toiletries were lovely. The bed was comfy, and there was a hanging rail for clothes and a hairdryer. The USB charging points by the bed were useful too. The bar / breakfast room is great, the brewery themed decor was really well done. Speaking of the breakfast, it was on par if not better than some I've had in 4 or 5 star hotels. The scrambled eggs were THE BEST I've seen on a buffet - light and fluffy unlike the tasteless, watery offering you often get! The staff at breakfast are so accommodating and helpful, and extremely on the ball with clearing tables. The location is good, the road at the front is busy but we couldn't hear anything from our room. The train station and city centre are a 10-15 minute walk away, I'm sure there are buses but we didn't bother. We had travelled by train and arrived hours before check in time and asked to pop our bags in their secure luggage room, but to our surprise were told our room was ready so we were able to freshen up before heading off to explore. We've stayed in York multiple times over the last 8 years, at least once a year and this is by far my favourite place that we have stayed in. I have paid much more to stay in far inferior hotels! (But please don't put the prices up, we want to come back ;-))”

  How clean it was. The only thing that was not clean was the hair dryer and the sheets on the sleeper sofa. It had some stains but I’m almost positive it was washed, at least it’s what I think. The stain probably just sat in. Besides those 2 things, everything was clean. I also liked how spacious the room was and the price.

  location was my choice and it worked out well. Breakfast-not so great. Definitely not as good as others we have had. I do not like powdered eggs and the little sweet rolls were dry = just nothing outstanding.

  The water in the bathroom sink was just a slight stream. The bathroom in general was not great. did not like that the one piece of glass on the shower was solid and could not move which meant the only way to get into the shower was under neath the shower head- not good! and the rim around the shower at the wall was loose and falling off. One more things- the towels are not nice and fluffy! that is important to me for a good impression

  The staff was very courteous and prompt to fix issues with the room.

  There still was an issue with one of the lights but it was sporadic so I think the maintenance person thought there wasn't anything wrong with it. The shower sprayed out onto the floor each time we took a shower and practically flooded behind the toilet. The beds were not very comfortable and I couldn't sleep through the night. I could also hear the people in the room beside ours - I could hear their alarm on their phone vibrate through to our room at 5am. There was not much soundproofing overall.

  Excellent facilities. The Williams cottage is cute, inviting and comfortable. The staff is super friendly. Tamara who is the front desk employee goes the extra mile all the time to make guests feel welcomed and comfortable. The location is excellent and close to many things. The continental breakfast was nice. This is a gem hotel in Key West.

  Booking.com ..... I'll never use your service again. YOU charged my debit card and gave the hotel a crap refillable card that didnt work so I got charged twice and it locked up my account on a HOLIDAY WEEKEND. Thank you for utterly ruining my life booking.
