Although this trip I was traveling alone , I also visit the Ashley Inn with my sister each spring. We both appreciate the fact that it is in a good location and clean. The biggest reason we stay there is because of the staff. Every one of them is friendly and helpful. I'd like to especially highlight Trish because she goes above and beyond her normal duties. As an example : when we stayed back in March my sister was expecting a bouquet of flowers from her husband that he had sent. The flowers were never delivered so Trish picked up a birthday card , had the staff sign it , and left it and some handpicked flowers in our room! Such kindness is rare these days and both my sister and I appreciated it very much. If Trish isn't at the front desk or office , you may find her doing any number of things from serving breakfast , folding towels , or cleaning rooms. She is truly a treasure and I know my sister and I will always stay there on our trips to LC!

I liked when I finally got maintenance to come to fix the air conditioning, and the amenities available in the room.

The A/C barely working, and had to be reset which made a minimal difference. The elevator was also out, and I had multiple Ashtma exacerbations due to it. They had almost 2 weeks to fix the elevator, nothing.
