- “So welcoming and comfortable from the minute you enter. All of the staff were really friendly and helpful. Our room, although on the small side was really comfortable and spotlessly clean. The shower was great and the supplies toiletries were lovely. The bed was comfy, and there was a hanging rail for clothes and a hairdryer. The USB charging points by the bed were useful too. The bar / breakfast room is great, the brewery themed decor was really well done. Speaking of the breakfast, it was on par if not better than some I've had in 4 or 5 star hotels. The scrambled eggs were THE BEST I've seen on a buffet - light and fluffy unlike the tasteless, watery offering you often get! The staff at breakfast are so accommodating and helpful, and extremely on the ball with clearing tables. The location is good, the road at the front is busy but we couldn't hear anything from our room. The train station and city centre are a 10-15 minute walk away, I'm sure there are buses but we didn't bother. We had travelled by train and arrived hours before check in time and asked to pop our bags in their secure luggage room, but to our surprise were told our room was ready so we were able to freshen up before heading off to explore. We've stayed in York multiple times over the last 8 years, at least once a year and this is by far my favourite place that we have stayed in. I have paid much more to stay in far inferior hotels! (But please don't put the prices up, we want to come back ;-))”

  They put me in a room that was not ready to be issued out. Charge me full price for didn't kick me out and ban me because someone was knocking on my door for an hour straight. I have to pay in the money I did. I'm a Mexican siren and wish that I got my money back for in the stay. I didn't deserve to have to pay for this at all. Just to be banned and to be treated rudely by the staff. Have the staff asked me questions about my significant other's age? It was all embarrassment

  A good location that was relatively close to the harbor as well as the Mansions. The room was clean with a limited view of the harbor. The bed was very high and I actually had to put my foot on the bed frame to get in. it was very comfortable. The inn's restaurant looked very nice with a very good menu selection. I would try it if we were in the area again. Lot's of restaurants & shops along the street.

  The hotel is right next to O'Brians restaurant and music was constantly blaring. In some instances all you could hear was a continual "Thump" of a bass guitar driving a rap song. We found to sets of earplugs and a printed note saying the location (busy street) can be noisy...Really! The Bathroom was very narrow and there was a single sink with very little room to even keep a shaving kit...(yet another excuse to not shave...hah). The Air conditioner was a window unit mounted high on the outside wall. When it was cooling it would blow the air in a circular motion around the room. Personally I can't take cold air blowing over my face when I sleep. I had to keep it on a higher setting and low fan speed. For me, It was "OK" for a one night stay but I would want to be there for more than that length,

  It was clean and decorated very well. It was quaint and in a perfect location to the north entrance to Yellowstone. Very pleased with the master bedroom:)

  The two pullout beds don’t fit well in the small living room space when opened. You can’t get in and out the door when the couches are opened. It worked because we were only there one night, but would have been challenging for multiple nights.
