The shower was great and the supplies toiletries were lovely. The bed was comfy, and there was a hanging rail for clothes and a hairdryer. The USB charging points by the bed were useful too. The bar / breakfast room is great, the brewery themed decor was really well done. Speaking of the breakfast, it was on par if not better than some I've had in 4 or 5 star hotels. The scrambled eggs were THE BEST I've seen on a buffet - light and fluffy unlike the tasteless, watery offering you often get! The staff at breakfast are so accommodating and helpful, and extremely on the ball with clearing tables. The location is good, the road at the front is busy but we couldn't hear anything from our room. The train station and city centre are a 10-15 minute walk away, I'm sure there are buses but we didn't bother. We had travelled by train and arrived hours before check in time and asked to pop our bags in their secure luggage room, but to our surprise were told our room was ready so we were able to freshen up before heading off to explore. We've stayed in York multiple times over the last 8 years, at least once a year and this is by far my favourite place that we have stayed in. I have paid much more to stay in far inferior hotels! (But please don't put the prices up, we want to come back ;-))”

  Beautiful location, it was quiet and had multiple locations to sit and enjoy the scenery with fire pits. The staff did a great job accommodating, it was clean and breakfast was great. Couldn’t ask for much more. We had a great experience.

  Nothing, place is a dump. People should avoid this place like the plague, which I would guess is a distinct possibility of getting the plague at this disgusting hellhole.

  They ripped me off and the entire place felt UNSAFE! Creepy old man that I think was part of staff follows people around and says weird things to you. Floors are GROSS and lobby smells like raw sewage.

  Kind and helpful staff, good location, bakery across the street and supermarket on the corner. Nice Roof bar inside the Hotel. Walking distance from MoMA.

  The deposit is a bit unpleasant especially for international clients that takes a while to be returned due to different banking account systems. Also the air condition was always set at 70 degrees Fahrenheit so the room was cold.

  It was by the beach with a Gulf view, but the view was actually of a medical clinic.

  The elevator was so slow that we took the stairs instead every time. The stairs were in the far side of the building, too. If there was an emergency, we would have to cross INSIDE the hotel just to get to the only staircase. The gate to secure the parking lot was open the entire time, and the side door from the parking lot into the hotel was unlocked and opened freely each time without a door card. Unfortunately, the staircase directly off that door also opened freely. There was absolutely NO security at all.
