The location is also perfect if you have bikes, as it makes it easy to explore the beautiful surrounding beaches. It’s just a shame the villa was available only for one night, because we would have loved to stay longer. Highly recommended!”

The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, the plumbing is high-quality, and the beds are comfortable. It's also very nice that there are automatic blinds on the windows, so you can sleep in complete darkness in the morning. Additionally, each cottage has a shared kitchen.”

- “These are small but practical bungalows directly at the beach. Two or three bungalows are directly seafront, the remaining ones are behind, with a side sea view. Anyway all of them very close to a beach in a beautiful garden with high trees. During our stay the tide was low during mornings when the water goes back a few hundreds of meters and the tide was high in the evening with convenient swimming in the water. The staff is very friendly and will give you detailed information about the accomodation and island. The bungalows are small but convenient and well working. There's a private bathroom in the bungalows. The bed was pleasant with perfectly clean sheets. The location is very convenient. It's easy walking distance from the port and center, still it's in very quiet natural place. The food court is also very close. We enjoyed our stay here very much.”

  LOVED the shower with the extra shower heads. Liked all the windows on the room and the pretend fireplace which made it feel cozy and almost like a home. Also really enjoyed hard floors, as it instantly feels cleaner (carpet in hotels is disgusting in my opinion). Decorator has great taste.

  The check-in process was clunky and frustrating. The automated kiosk wouldn’t accept my credit card. This was not due to any issue on my end, but because staff had disabled that function without any notice. I stood there confused and irritated until someone eventually came to assist. What’s worse is they knew the system wouldn’t work, yet still left guests to figure it out alone. The experience didn’t match expectations. Later, our room keys didn’t work either, requiring another search for help. The neighborhood is close to the freeway, which is convenient, but it’s also noisy and noticeably dirty.

  The location was perfect and the room was very clean. The distance from the boardwalk was nice and close. You could walk to the pier without having to worry about parking.

  The price was high for one night, and if I wasn't so tired that day, I would have gone back to Monterey for that cost and stayed there. The pool was out of order for the whole weekend, and neighbors were so noisy with their kids running around that we had to keep our windows closed. It is a small place and everyone is nearby, so understandable.

  We loved that the hotel wants to provide a unique experience. Our room was cute but very dark. The bathroom was nicely sized and had good toiletries and towels.

  Parking is a nightmare! Much of the staff was new and couldn’t answer basic questions (like where to park). My partner had to sleep right next to a concrete column. Luckily, he does not move around a lot when sleeping but if you are someone who wallops your arm or leg out from the sheets at night, be careful! The outdoor bar closed at 10 PM. We had hoped to enjoy a nightcap after a nice dinner in Asheville, but only got to spend a few minutes enjoying the view before last call. In the end, it was a “meh” experience. We want to support Asheville after Helene and will be returning to the city, but most likely not to the Radical.
