  Staff very welcoming. Many shops and restaurants within walking distance for an average person. Beds very comfortable. Water view was exceptional.

  We had a first floor balcony room, and there was no darkening shade on the French door to the balcony. Exterior lighting shined through the blinds and was very distracting. But I would definitely stay here again.

  Elevator was out of service the whole week.. which was very inconvenient when having to carry a car load of belongings up several sets of steps. Bathtubs were peeling only showers worked. Food was splattered in microwave. Horrible smell would come thru the kitchen sink drains when water was ran. My kids couldn't even sleep on bunk beds because you could feel the boards thru the mattress. It would be a nice place to stay with alot of updates and fixer uppers.

  Arrived later in the evening, front clerk seemed bothered when we stated we there to check in. He came out and assisted us. Before we left the lobby he was on his phone. We later asked for places to eat, his response was "there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance". Not something someone wants to hear who had just driven 16 hours. A recommendation would have been great since we did ask. Again, he seemed very put off that we were there. Room had a significant amount of damage to the furniture. For a "waterfront" hotel there was no view from the hotel. Very disappointing when we spent over $600 for a one stay in a hotel we were hoping for views.
