      The lobby is a beautiful, classy place to relax anytime, have an excellent breakfast (included), complimentary afternoon tea/coffee with great cookies,, wine or champagne also available for purchase throughout day/evening, and play cards or a board game, all with lovely music playing at just the right volume in the background. Heated pool and hot tub are nice as well. Corn hole and croquet also available. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Clean, nice room. Covered and outdoor parking available. Short drive to historic downtown.

      We chose the hotel for its proximity to the Blue Line. The room was large and comfortable, with great views of downtown. Great water pressure in the shower. It had everything we needed. Knowing nothing about Chicago neighborhoods, we found the financial district location acceptable if not terribly interesting.

      We didn't realize that the hotel was on the top floor of an office building. Getting in involved tapping in through the building turnstiles to reach the elevator, then switching elevators for the last floor in order to reach the restricted hotel floor. It was easy enough once you knew what you were doing, but a bit strange.

      Room, cleanliness, breakfast, staff, smoking only allowed in designated areas outside facility. Tidy, hotel spotless and highly sanitized, hot breakfast available, friendly and courteous, and room not smelling of tobacco products.

      Bathroom not vented. No ventilation within rooms for proper air circulation in and out. Even highly concentrated sanitizing does not eliminate stale orders trapped in unvented spaces and can result in breathing issues from chemicals.

      Coffee not the best! No turkey breakfast meat. Very few options for vegetarian's. Parking $50 per day! Hotel is somewhat dated! Room lighting will definitely hid any and all imperfections, Mini fridge freezer part had ice frost- that I not seen in 40 years. This particular Embassy Suite location will not get return of me. I indicated my displease to the concierge during my check out.
