The shower was great and the supplies toiletries were lovely. The bed was comfy, and there was a hanging rail for clothes and a hairdryer. The USB charging points by the bed were useful too. The bar / breakfast room is great, the brewery themed decor was really well done. Speaking of the breakfast, it was on par if not better than some I've had in 4 or 5 star hotels. The scrambled eggs were THE BEST I've seen on a buffet - light and fluffy unlike the tasteless, watery offering you often get! The staff at breakfast are so accommodating and helpful, and extremely on the ball with clearing tables. The location is good, the road at the front is busy but we couldn't hear anything from our room. The train station and city centre are a 10-15 minute walk away, I'm sure there are buses but we didn't bother. We had travelled by train and arrived hours before check in time and asked to pop our bags in their secure luggage room, but to our surprise were told our room was ready so we were able to freshen up before heading off to explore. We've stayed in York multiple times over the last 8 years, at least once a year and this is by far my favourite place that we have stayed in. I have paid much more to stay in far inferior hotels! (But please don't put the prices up, we want to come back ;-))”

      When we asked to check in early the desk lady gave us parking because our room wasn't ready, this was fantastic! oUR 2nd attempt to checkin , Latoya aslo treated us excellantly! I have been doing alot of traveling up and down the coast the past couple of weeks, I have to say this was the BEST place I stayed. Good old communication, hospitality goes along way and apparently it not too familiar today in hoteling. Yes, we ate breakfast and the staff and food was another perfect score!!

      If you want a beautiful, relaxing place to go this is it! Went on our yearly girls trip and it was perfect! Has everything you need to cook. Only 1 cabin near it. Hot tub overlooking woods. Just far enough in the mountains to feel secluded but not be too far from town. Perfect.

      Great location close to major attractions, We really liked the room.

      Only reason we are knocking off two points is because the building we were put in was a bit away from the main building and the parking was hard to find in this smaller building so we had to park across the road at the main building. My main issue is that I wish this "side building" had some staff/human presence or someone manning the desk or security. Even though this was gated, I would feel more comfortable if there was some kind of security.

      Rooms were completely filthy and black mold growing on the ceiling and walls .Floors were never mopped your socks get black .Staff was rude and lazy. The door safety latch was broken. Had no breakfast bar like it said just a granola bar.
