      I rarely write reviews, but I am compelled to write one for this place. Absolutely lovely place. Very comfortable and clean. Excellent vibes. Introverts’ paradise. I have stayed at so many hotels and bed&breakfasts around the world. Alaska itself has its share of wonderful and charming small b&bs and yet, Alaska’s Harvest stands out as my favorite. I had the reindeer room, it was large, well equipped and extremely comfortable. I had the best night’s sleep and didn’t want to leave. I was feeling a little unwell with migraine and motion sickness when checking in. I felt so much better being in such a nice place and being able to rest and recuperate. Will definitely stay here again next time I’m in the area.

      I found a bed bug crawling on me and it bit me several times. I was in room 216, but if they are in one room, chances are, the property has an infestation. The room was incredibly dirty and unsafe. The sheets had not been washed, as there was hair and food stains under the blankets. The extra door lock was also broken. There was a group of people fighting outside of the office, and the desk agent seemed to be involved. When I brought the bed bug to the front desk and informed them of the situation, they were very dismissive and declared that it was only a "small bed bug". I was told to contact the manager in the morning, which I do understand, but I had to vacate the property at 2:00 am, with nowhere else to go. Bed bugs are an extremely serious matter, as they can covertly travel on your clothing and items. There is a large risk of bringing them back to your home. They are difficult to exterminate and can potentially cost you hundreds of dollars to eradicate if this happens.
