Great location! Has the makings of a beautiful hotel. Pool area was nice. Surprisingly nice little gym area featuring a Peloton bike. Comfy bed. Mini fridge and microwave in room.

My room was dirty upon arrival. Bedding was dirty and looked slept in. Coffee stains on the wall. Paint stains around the room. Damage to the lampshade. My concern was not taking the blame for said damage, upon arrival, I immediately approached the front desk about it and his response " we can get you some clean sheets, as for the damage its reasonable. NOTHING COMPARES TO THE EXCESSIVE NOISE LEVEL. I had to call the front desk to ask at 1:30 a.m. to have them come and tell people to quiet down. Yelling, running in the halls, CONSTANT slamming of the doors. Even after calling the front desk, NOTHING seemed to be done. It was after 3 a.m. when the noise level finally minimized. I traveled from a states over, so it was essential to have a place to "REST," which we did NOT find here. Almost 500.00 for two nights seems appealing when everything is centrally located however, it does NOT feel like a deal for the environment. Had I not had 5 hour drive, I would've have left at 3 a.m. All the makings of a beautiful hotel/resort minus the lack of management and the lackluster attitude of the housekeeping staff. (Housekeeper was banging and slamming doors, the entire time they were cleaning around us.)

The bathroom tub faucet was broken, the knob was broken, no way to turn off the water, so water was steaming out of tub faucet all day/night. Since the tub faucet was broken, there was no way for us to turn the knob to adjust the shower temperature. The pool, very small, was frigid! The water was way too cold to enjoy a swim, that was extremely disappointing.

My family and I booked two rooms at the Wingate by Wyndham Pittsburgh West Mifflin, located at 1340 Lebanon Church Road in West Mifflin, PA 15236 from August 21,2025 to August 23, 2025. We stayed on the 2nd floor the end of the hallway right next stairwell exits leading into stairwell where the “Emergency Exit Door Only is located.” Posted on the door was a red sign that said, “Emergency Exit Door Only Do Not Open Alarm Will Sound.” Being that I am a security professional I am very conscious about security especially when traveling with my family and staying at hotels. As such, I put my luggage in my room and helped my family put their luggage in their room. Then, I checked the stairwell exit and entered the stairwell and I noticed there was a rock wedged between the Emergency Exit Door Only and the door frame to hold the door open. What get my attention is the door alarm should have been going off but that was not the case. I immediately remove the rock and secured the door. Additionally, during my stay I noticed several people going out of the “Emergency Exit Door” and the alarm did not go off leaving the door unsecured. After noticing these incidents, I walked down the hallway to the other “Emergency Exit Door” and noticed the same issue at the door as well. I informed the front desk clerk about what I had noticed about the lack of security in the hotel and showed her the issues as well. She indicated that she would inform the manager about the security issues, because she was not aware of these problems because she had just been working there for a brief period. She thanked me for bringing this matter to her attention. Lastly, I noticed surveillance cameras in the stairwells, but my guess is that they were not operational because someone at the front desk or in the manager’s office would have noticed this issue with hotel security. Also, I did not see any surveillance cameras in the hallways.
