  I like the staff. They’re personable in a real way, not the fakey be-nice-to-the-customer way. For me, the location is about perfect. It’s quiet, out-of-the-way, but has a supermarket, panda express, pho restaurant, and a subway. When I didn’t feel like going to a sit-down restaurant, I just walked across the street for food to take back to my room. And let’s not forget, Safeway has beer and wine to go with whatever you get.

  This was a beautiful classic house with lovely vintage furnishings and decor. Very easy to find and get inside. Felt very welcoming with lots of comfortable sitting areas on the outdoor porch and in the living room and dining area. I had a room with a shared bath, but seemed to have it all to myself. I slept wonderfully and enjoyed the quiet French music playing during breakfast.

  Awesome place. Clean and excellent location for the dog beach which was our main focus. Good value for us, we enjoyed staying here. Owners were friendly and prompt response. Updated interior and it felt homey. We would definitely stay here again.

  The only very minor issues we had was when we arrived, there was someone doing touch up paint inside. Which wasn't really a problem except I was given notification that everything was ready early and we didn't even arrive early so it was unexpected to see things were not ready? Again minor. The gentleman left within a couple minutes. Then we had an issue with the key pad to the garage not working. Owners came by and found the battery was dead. Again, minor issue and it was solved that same evening.

  Really enjoyed the new rooms and renovation work done in the rooms. Every staff member was very friendly and helpful and worked to accommodate all requests.

  The POOL. When is it going to be completed. The last time I was there, the pool was not open and the whole area doesn't look good at all. Wondering why it has been so long and not having this amenity is very upsetting because I really enjoy sitting out by a pool or enjoying the pool.
