The shower was great and the supplies toiletries were lovely. The bed was comfy, and there was a hanging rail for clothes and a hairdryer. The USB charging points by the bed were useful too. The bar / breakfast room is great, the brewery themed decor was really well done. Speaking of the breakfast, it was on par if not better than some I've had in 4 or 5 star hotels. The scrambled eggs were THE BEST I've seen on a buffet - light and fluffy unlike the tasteless, watery offering you often get! The staff at breakfast are so accommodating and helpful, and extremely on the ball with clearing tables. The location is good, the road at the front is busy but we couldn't hear anything from our room. The train station and city centre are a 10-15 minute walk away, I'm sure there are buses but we didn't bother. We had travelled by train and arrived hours before check in time and asked to pop our bags in their secure luggage room, but to our surprise were told our room was ready so we were able to freshen up before heading off to explore. We've stayed in York multiple times over the last 8 years, at least once a year and this is by far my favourite place that we have stayed in. I have paid much more to stay in far inferior hotels! (But please don't put the prices up, we want to come back ;-))”

  EVERYTHING! The entire atmosphere is inviting, the lobby is spacious and in a way even luxurious with a minimalistic touch. The check-in was seamless and the agent was exceptionally courteous and professional and offered me a river view room with a spectacular view. OMG! I took so many pictures - when I got to the room, later at night, in the morning and before I left. Wow! The room was spacious, comfortable, had all the amenities necessary, and it just felt wonderful. This is the hotel I will always stay at whenever I need to travel to Jacksonville.

  There was a desk person named Edwards, who when I asked for a manager. He kept identifying himself as the manager, but he was not the manager, and my issues were not resolved to any satisfaction. Look at the pictures you guys need to go and look at these rooms. They need some work simple maintenance very unhappy with the whole state especially for how much money we spent just for two days we spent $900 for two days. That’s ridiculous. We fully expect you guys to do nothing.
