The shower was great and the supplies toiletries were lovely. The bed was comfy, and there was a hanging rail for clothes and a hairdryer. The USB charging points by the bed were useful too. The bar / breakfast room is great, the brewery themed decor was really well done. Speaking of the breakfast, it was on par if not better than some I've had in 4 or 5 star hotels. The scrambled eggs were THE BEST I've seen on a buffet - light and fluffy unlike the tasteless, watery offering you often get! The staff at breakfast are so accommodating and helpful, and extremely on the ball with clearing tables. The location is good, the road at the front is busy but we couldn't hear anything from our room. The train station and city centre are a 10-15 minute walk away, I'm sure there are buses but we didn't bother. We had travelled by train and arrived hours before check in time and asked to pop our bags in their secure luggage room, but to our surprise were told our room was ready so we were able to freshen up before heading off to explore. We've stayed in York multiple times over the last 8 years, at least once a year and this is by far my favourite place that we have stayed in. I have paid much more to stay in far inferior hotels! (But please don't put the prices up, we want to come back ;-))”

  We stayed here for our yearly Rocklahoma trip. Very convenient & close for that. Spavinaw is a very small town, not much in it. But that is also kind of nice. No hurry up & wait. The spillway from the lake is cool. Pics taken down at the RV campground below it were also nice. Layout of rooms is a little "different" but we made it work for our needs. Owner contacted me via text shortly after we checked in to see how it was, etc. Passed along some info to them. Seemed sincere in replies

  Property was in need of some maintenance (grass cut, backyard was overgrown, which was a shame as it is a nice area). Had a few light bulbs burnt out. Bathroom is very small (and we are not). Needs an outdoor light at front door (solar walkway lights are way too dim). Neighborhood is rundown, BUT did not feel unsafe at anytime. Keyless front door lock was challenge, but also nice not to have to deal with keys.

  The front desk is simply arrogant and very very rude, or maybe they are just racists. The hotel despite a luxurious star property doesn’t even provide drinking water in the room. They charge for it. Not provision of tea or coffee maker in the room. For us our morning coffee is a must need when we called for it, the hotel wanted to charge $35 for giving the same.

  First of all this place took my payment and I still couldn't stay there because my son girlfriend stained the sheets with a little bit of blood not knowing she had started her period of the middle of the night so they told my son sorry but u did some damages to the room so you could no longer stay here so they took the money and told my son that it will take 7 to 10 business working days to receive that money back on to the card.. I just think it was wrong to do that us females don't know when our menstrual period comes and to say destroy the property that's not destroying the property I will never check into that place ever again the worker there was very rude idk why they have people like that with bad attitudes very bad customer service if she's. Not happy with her job stay home there's no need to treat your customers like crap bring the company down

  Bleach all over the carpets. Had to switch rooms because first room we found 3 baby spiders in the bed within 15 minutes. The mattress was also old and stained. The second room was a little better.
