You can hear other people's plumbing, chatter, alarm clocks, etc, through the walls. It's pretty noisy when there are families with children...

Warm, clean and close to the slopes

The receptionist they should be more friendly and helpful. I have the sensation that I was working for them sometimes as I don’t speak catalã, I asked the receptionist to call to the bus agency to solve one of our problems, however I was surprise when she said that I should call them... If you would like to go out during the night, there isn’t any place that you can go close by yourself. There is a market close to the hotel ( 20min walking to get in and 30min to return to the hotel, the main difference is the slope to return to the hotel). The hotel stayed close to the ski lift but is better to take the transfer from the hotel. Staying in this hotel is better to have a car so you can have more flexibility to enjoy Andorra and others small cities as Soldeu and Canillo which are close but you can’t go walking.

The bartender was amazing. Alejandra prepared very good drinks, she was very helpful giving some tips about Andorra city. The transfer drivers, both were very helpful and tried always to help us with the snowboarding equipment. The dinner and breakfast were very good with plenty of varieties of food everyday the food was different so is easy to eat everyday at the same restaurant. The room was well cleaning. For kids and family is a very good hotel as there are plenty of activities for kids during afternoon.

Swimming pool is in a seperate building, not that convinient during winter season.

Very good dinner, always fish and meat, salad. Breakfast was average. There are free parking places in front of hotel and for 9 Euro per day in garage. Also there is a ski bus to El Tarter. Hotel is definitely the best what you can get for this price!!!

The room was on the 4th floor and it was a bit too cold. They should have let us the opportunity to control the climate of the room. They made our room everyday and It was very clean in general but I laid once on the floor to play with my dog who is allergic to dust and there was quite an accumulation under the bed.

The staff was wonderful. They recommended all kind of activities and places to visit in the area and explained to us thoroughly...Sonja (our doggie) was super welcome and the place of clean and nice...The surroundings were exactly what we were looking for. Mountains and rivers and cold!

The staff were fantastic, especially the waiting / bar staff. Camilla ran lots of activities for the children (water polo, bingo, table football, mini disco etc). The children LOVED it and she was brilliant with them. The pool was brilliant and the food perfect for kids and adults. Would highly recommend it.

If you don't book the shuttle early in the morning you won't have a slot. To be honest in the end we just drove because parking at lift is free and meant we could leave the skis in the car amd didnt have to worry about moving them back and forth.

Very kind and welcoming staff. Lovely quaint little hotel that felt off the beaten track even though it was a 4 minute drive to the el tarter ski lift. Lovely to relax in the pool at end of the day. Its not huge and can get busy butnwas lovely and warm. Evening entertainment was simple but good and rounded the day off well. Fair.priced drinks amd games.and cards to us at your tables. Bar ladies very friendly. Just a great feel good place which was great value for money!!!

If you don't have a car, it is a problem, because there is no bus service, so it is necessary to walk a long way down a steep hill that has no sidewalks. Only one restaurant near the hotel, and no other businesses or nightlife nearby.

The only view from my room was a wall so windows were pointless. For this reason the room was terrible. The hotel is very noisy as it is built of concrete and stone so noise travels from bottom to top. When I stayed there were a group of school children who enjoyed to hang out by the drinks machine outside my room.

The staff were polite and attentive. Proximity to the slopes was good with free transfer.

Excellent value of money! The view from the room's balcony was simply stunning. Staffs were also very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located quite near to El Tarter ski lift, we walked ourselves from the hotel to the ski lift though the hotel does provide free shuttle to-and-fro the ski lift which you'll need to reserve your spot once you checked in at the reception. The single lift can be a pain as there can be long waits for it, especially when some children of the guests think it fun to press the buttons for all floors. Not all towels were changed, even though used and the bathroom while clean, was not re-cleaned every day, Used sachets of shampoo remained after cleaning. The food was just average but plentiful. A little more effort in variety and freshness could make a big difference. The day after our return 3 of the four of us came down with gastroenteritis. We could only assume we got it in the restaurant as the only healthy one was the youngest who did not eat there, Hopefully the hygiene standards are maintained to a high level and we were just unlucky. Would still recommend the hotel.

Staff were excellent and having the pool was a real bonus with kids. The driver to the ski lift made you feel really welcome and no effort was too much

It's a lovely little hotel at the top of a hill in the hamlet of Ransol. This is a long way from any Apres-Ski and the dangerous walk down the hill is to be avoided. Therefore, once you are in the hotel, there you stay unless you have transport. There is a ski bus for the 500m trip to El Tarter cablecar which operates in first and last in the skiing day.

Staff very helpful and friendly, very efficient and although the male waiters business-like, the waitresses know how to charm. Food just the best, fresh, varied, local, plentiful, delicious!
