Few bits of feedback. Room service for basic things needs speeding up. Comms boxes on the beach mostly don’t work. The back- lit face mirrors in all bed rooms are way too low ( set for sub 150cm guests) Provide size 46/47 slippers in bedrooms.( not just girls sizes) Provide healthy berries at breakfast it’s what the wealthy expect and want!! Blueberries. Raspberries, blackberries etc in volume. Not just low volume mixed in with strawberries. Provide fried bread at breakfast. (For a world class breakfast look no further than Puente Romano marbella - lower room rate - better breakfast) make sure the cash machines have 20/50 notes for tips. And most of all get rid of the poo/sewerage smell near the circular swimming pool bar!!! ( don’t leave it to the staff to say it’s diesel boats. Finally the lack of live music in favour of nothing or disinterested dj’s is lamentable. Quba bar became Buci and has lost its soul by laying off the amazing Philippino band that was there for years. Stop the penny pinching and cost saving around live music please

Nothing to do with the hotel, but some of the guests are ruder than you can imagine - I have never heard anyone speak to staff the way they did. I was shocked at the sheer number of people who thought they could be so entitled and aggressive. Horrible. My heart goes out to what some staff had to put up with. Also remember that you can smoke in the eating area outside the lounge and so the cigar smokers had little regard for those of us trying to enjoy our food around them. Dubai has changed quite a lot - it seems to be a paradise for full-time Instagrammers who film themselves all day and all night - on the beach, in the pools, in the souk, in the malls - even in the loos! It's quite a challenge to fight through the endless posing :-)

We have stayed at the other hotels on Jumeirah beach but this was our first time in the Al Qasr. We chose a Club Room as being able to have breakfast, afternoon tea and sundowners in the lounge is a great experience. The staff in The Palace Lounge are truly superb. A delightful welcome from Cathy and we were looked after brilliantly all week by Pablo, Max, Anita, Anne to name but a few. They made restaurant recommendations and made sure we had reservations when necessary. The lounge is peaceful and tranquil - away from the more frenetic pace elsewhere. Breakfast is extensive - you can choose from an a la carte menu (eggs, pancakes etc - all cooked to order) and there is a plentiful buffet on top of that. The afternoon tea has delicious hot and cold savouries, beautiful pastries and sublime scones with cream and jam. However, leave enough room for the cocktails and canapés - they too are plentiful and delicious. The restaurants across the hotels are all amazing and the pools are fabulous as well as the fact that it is so close to the beach means that the sea is always accessible.

The staff is fantastic! The beach is amazing and the food is amazing! You don't need more for the perfect vacation! We were on our honeymoon, and the beautiful surprise that greeted us in our room was amazing. Our room was kept clean by Shuman, who cleaned excellently. The hotel was as if we were in a beautiful village. The gondola and mini golf carts were amazing. The restaurants and the spa were fabulous, but above all I would highlight the extremely kind staff. We will be back soon.

Our first room had two single beds put together with 2 duvets on top that didn’t fit the bed. Very unacceptable considering the cost of a stay here. We were offered an alternative room which was perfect but a lot of time wasted in these changes. The tv couldn’t stream our Netflix even though it advertises that it could.

Service, especially at the pool was so attentive and 5star treatment. The rooms are designed very well and spacious. E butler service very responsive and useful.

Al qasr is absolutely beautiful, from the reception area to the rooms it is stunningly decorated. The rooms are super clean, as are the pools and beaches. Every member of staff was friendly and welcoming in particular Miguel who is amazing at his job! My son loved the kids pool and we loved having so many beautiful restaurants onsite.

Check out / lack of invoice and double the amount blocked on the credit card released after 1 month with countless conversation with the bank. Calling to customer service to Jumeirah is nightmare . One hour waiting passing through different operators .

I celebrated my birthday there with my friends in a junior suite. With canals, gondolas, and peacocks, the hotel looks more like an Arab sand castle than typical Dubai architecture. The room (and the hotel itself) was superbly decorated for the holiday season, with plenty of water, fruit and even cake provided on my birthday. On the beach and by the pool there were free SPFs. Another nice touch is the free ice cream. Other than that, everything was as expected from a luxury hotel in Dubai.
