Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United Arab EmiratesOne facility guy who just went inside our room using a card without us leaving a housekeeping sign while we were inside. It was night at that time. I didn’t feel safe at knowing that anyone can just go inside our room without us even asking for amenities/housekeeping service. And this morning I put a do not disturb sign and there were people knocking on our door. We couldn’t get up to open the door as we slept late night before and we didn’t want to be disturbed but still they kept on knocking and rang the phone just for us to open our door and receive the amenities without us even asking it. The staff should avoid this next time especially if no one is opening the door for them, it just simply means that people are still asleep. This is our 2nd time coming here and it’s the first time that we got disappointed about our stay here.
Staff were very accommodating especially Resvy and Ysa. They assisted and helped us a lot during our whole stay in Aloft and made everything convenient. Especially with our food and free boat ride reservations. Will definitely come back again for our 3rd time just because of them.

Rooms are cute, nice beddings, bathroom super and all normal facilities at your hand. Special mention for balcony with a splendid viev over Burj Al Arab, special thanks to Wissem, at receiving desk of the hotel. To mention that the staff are excellent and helpful all over. The general restaurant - even having not so many choices - has very tasty food - congratulations to chefs! We had breakfast and dinner and it was a delight. The private beach is excellent, even if you have to walk a little to get there - and the beer at the beach bar was super in the beautiful sunset!

I recently stayed at Aloft Palm Jumeirah and had a fantastic experience. Firstly, the location is superb, situated on the iconic Palm Jumeirah with stunning sea views of the Arabian Gulf and the dazzling Dubai skyline. There is an excellent Mexican restaurant within the hotel. The food was delicious, authentic, and complemented by impeccable service and beautiful views. The hotel boasts a lovely beachfront area, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful Arabian Gulf. The breathtaking sea views from the hotel rooms added to the overall charm of the property. What truly stood out during my stay was the exceptional hospitality of the staff. They were incredibly kind and attentive, not only to me but also to my son, making our stay truly memorable.
