Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

MexicoThey should make a kids & family area since kids are jumping and running all over the places, also at the Falaj dinner kids were running and crying and you couldn’t enjoy too much. They should have more personnel at the restaurants and English speaking personnel.
The food is exceptional, the hotel is unbelievable!! Paola gave us a warm welcome and helped us through all our stay, she’s the best!

United KingdomWe were not told that we needed to book the activities in advance so it was tricky to get the activities when we wanted. We also got terribly lost when driving to the resort, luckily someone in Reception were able to track our location and told us what we needed to do.
The buffet breakfast was lovely and sitting out on the large balcony eating it was great. The views of the sand dunes from our bedroom window were fabulous.

RussiaPoor sound insulation (at night you can hear guests coming to neighboring rooms, laughter), uncomfortable furniture (no shelves for things, no table for roomservice), terrible service in the suhail restaurant (waiters, bartender). We also paid for a PCR test at the hotel, according to the staff, the result was supposed to come in 24 hours (it was important for us for departure), as a result, we waited more than 33, we were nervous for the whole farewell dinner. The tests were received only 10 minutes before departure from the hotel!
The territory, spacious rooms, delicious breakfasts and restaurants for dinner, good service from the reception, managers, incredible views around

PolandSmall thing but annoying: stench of natural compost used to fertilize the soil around the greenery. It’s really perceptible around the some of the sun beds at the pool

United Arab EmiratesWe were in the hotel also 2 years ago and somehow we felt that cleanliness was not at the same top level than at that time (some plastic waste here and there, facemask by the pool on the floor for a few hrs..) Flies by the pool. I assume they want to keep fly population under control in a sustainable (avoiding pesticide spraying during night?) way which I really admire and support.. but the downside is there are really lots of flies around the pool and the fly catchers in the palm trees give a nasty smell.. Construction works in the area within visible distance.. obviously this is not within the control of the hotel management but it is spoiling the feeling of remoteness to see trucks and cranes working all day, during the night very strong lights are visible which is also a pity
Great location and facilities, breakfast is fantastic, love it how you can sit outdoor, staff is very professional and high quality, hotel was fully booked when we went but as the area is so large it never felt crowded

BrazilReview edited for brevity: I came here with my wife for two nights during our honeymoon and can safely say it’s been the best days of the entire trip. The check-in process is smooth and designed to make you feel comfortable. While a staff member gets your documents, you get a welcome drink and delicious dates. The person doing your check-in will want to know if you’ve already booked any restaurants or activities and happily provides tips and recommendations based on your interests. The Arabic-themed rooms are spacious and well designed. Ancient yet modern, there’s a coziness to them that makes you immediately feel comfortable. The path that leads to the pool is gorgeous. It took us 15 minutes to get there as we were constantly making stops to take pictures and marvel at human ingenuity. We got a great massage at the Spa. My wife went back for another the following day and said it was the best she ever had. We then went to Suhail for dinner, a steakhouse on the second floor. Make sure you sit outdoors to appreciate beautiful views of the desert at night. If you only do a single activity, make sure it’s Dune Bashing. Our driver was amiable and made sure we enjoyed the ride as he when up and down the dunes. This is a thrilling experience for people looking for an adrenaline rush. For our second night, we booked dinner at Al Falaj, a Bedouin-style restaurant set up in the desert. Here is where this hotel shines gastronomically, and it’s a restaurant you absolutely can’t miss. After getting to our table, we were surprised to find live music and a skillful belly dancer going to every table showing her skills. From the Mezze to the buffet and desserts, by the time you finish you will wish you could start all over again. Thank you to the hotel staff for over-delivering in every way. We have nothing but good memories from the days we spent in your hotel.

GermanyShort and simple: This is a perfect 10! top 3 places I have ever stayed at and I have been to many 5star places all over the world. To put it in perspective: It's a very expensive place and therefore my expectations were obviously very high before we got there, still the resort exceeded my expectations. Says a lot. All of the staff were just wonderful! You could have a nice conversation everywhere and with everyone and they tried everything to make the stay as comfortable as possible. It's a very, very special place. The resort is right in the middle of an endless dune landscape. literally in the middle of the desert! Stunning landscape all around! The desert drives they offer are something to recommend as well. Expensive too, but they have very skilled and very professional drivers. You can do softer drives or more dune bashing and both is great because you will be the only one doing it.
