Lovely spot overlooking the mangroves marine reserve with the skyscrapers in the distance. Walkway beside the river. Canoe hire nearby. Free tourist bus. Relatively quiet and away from the bustle of the city. Great breakfast. Lovely pool. Good gym. Helpful friendly staff .

I left my iPods behind but left my luggage at the reception before going at 4pm. I did realise that I might have left them behind just before I left! And they found them which was great! However, it would have been even better if they had informed me as soon as they made the room and found them!

Very good service, staff is very nice and always helpful. Pool is very nice, it could stay open a little later.

The carpet and couch in the room is beginning to show its age. The lighting in the room was also a little strange. One light could not be turned off at all - we eventually had to get reception to send someone who ended up having to remove the light bulb. The mini fridge smelled a little strange. Our safe in the cupboard was pretty much non-functional. I also found the shower pressure a little too low for me, but this could be a preference thing.

Room was spacious. Beds were extremely comfortable. Bathroom was big with a nice bathtub. We had a room with a beautiful view of the Mangroves. Air conditioning was really strong which I was really happy about as I like a cold room, and temperature easily adjustable. Breakfast was fantastic! There was a very large variety - so much so that we didn't get a chance to try everything over the five days we stayed. Everything I tried was delicious. The chefs at the egg station were so friendly and willing to make whatever I wanted. I really began to look forward to my breakfasts everyday. Staff in general were really good. Everyone was very willing to assist wherever they could, and consistently friendly.

Breakfast -Very limited options, we had the same menu for breakfast for 2 days. Pillows- very uncomfortable soft pillows, we found the pillow menu too late.

ROOM - Very spacious and they provided me a room with a great view of the mangrove forest. Plus they have prepared a surprise for me for my Birthday, very thoughtful presentation. STAFF- All in all one of the best hotel staff I have ever encountered, shout out to Jervee the housekeeping staff for cleaning our room spic and span; Rema from the front desk for helping us in time of need and AMIR from the concierge for the most informative room tour and the amiable Filipino male staff in the pool deck that handles shisha. AMBIENCE - Loved that we can just walk along the pier and enjoy the view or people watch while having dinner or coffee along the restaurants that dot the place as others enjoy doing water sports. FOOD - Ba Te Restaurant ( food by WAWA dining), Don't miss out on this place, very appetizing food and wonderful staff.

Cleanliness of communal areas, especially ingredients terrace. Breakfast coffee was disappointing and straight out of a machine, not what we expect from this standard of hotel.
