Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

RussiaThe hotel is comfortable and was obviously one of the best in class some 15 years ago. By now it is still quite good - however, here and there one may find traces of age. There also are small details that count, too - like lack of space to hang your clothes (I was visiting for a conference, so that was important) or how the shower door opens in such a way you can't step out on the towel you have put on the floor. I probably wouldn't be mentioning all this - but keeping in mind the amount of money I paid for a short stay (I understand the rates were higher than usual because of the on-premise conference I was attending) I feel somewhat frustrated. Anyway, wouldn't have selected a different hotel to stay this time - the advantage of living at the same place where you have to work is more precious than money.
Good breakfast, well-equipped fitness centre

United KingdomThey are developing a water park on the site so there was a bit of noise at one end of the pool area.
The Grand Hyatt is very conveniently located for easy access by taxi to the Dubai Mall, Burj Khalifa , the historic Dubai and the airport. There is very little in the immediate vicinity and if you want a beach holiday you’d be better off at Jumeirah or on the Palm but for us the location was perfect this time. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It has a lovely swimming pool area. There was a fabulous choice of restaurants with excellent food on offer satisfying different dining requirements and a very reasonable breakfast was available at a number of different sites. Our room was very spacious but there is no outside space. We overlooked the pool and Dubai Creek but on reflection I think a city view might have been slightly better.

United KingdomThe light switches in the bedroom are lit from inside. I’m a very sensitive to light when sleeping so this was a little annoying to cover up.
Beautiful hotel, clean and absolutely massive. No noise issues at night. Absolutely pleasant.

Czech RepublicConcierge was unable to arrange gift wrapping. Limitation of garden space due to the construction of a new extensive water park for children.
The hotel is located approx. 15-20 minutes by taxi from the center. It offers guests a nice and spacious garden with a large, indented and very clean swimming pool. The hotel has a number of restaurants that offer a wide selection of world cuisines. The breakfast is very good and varied. In the restaurant, the room was bigger and had a wardrobe to store suitcases and clothes. The hotel offers a pleasant stay for business guests and visitors with children.

CanadaThe room I'd booked was with pool and garden view, but the room I got was anything but that and when I asked trhe reception about that, I heard that since I stayed on the lower floor (3rd floor) I could not see the pool and garden. As the matter of fact the pool and garden was on the other side of the hotel. Also when I asked to see other types of the room I heard that all room was occupied. So during the 2 weeks we were there we couldn't manage to see any other rooms, which I found it weird. Th eother negative thing was the so called business center, where you could use the computer and the printer. But I was really surprised to hear that for using the computers you'll be charged per minute and for every printed page you have to pay 2 AED. This is not worthy a 5 star hotel. That was simply cheap of the hotel !!! 2-3 printed pages would not cost the hotel anything but for the guest looks not classy !!!
We loved everything about this hotel, good breakfast, nice staff, clean and big room, nice pool area and specially the cold citroon ice water that was served there together with ice cold face towel, very good gym and also the spa with sauna and steam room. Very good houskeeping and guest service. We really enjoyed our stay there !!! A real 5 star hotel

United StatesObviously there is not a beach but that wasn’t what we needed.
This was a beautiful facility, with great WiFi and excellent service. The breakfast buffet was impressive with a wide selection of foods and cuisines, good coffee (always a plus), and a lovely location in the lower level “rain forest”. The pool was beautiful and there was always a taxi waiting when we walked out the door. The location was good for sightseeing for many of the Dubai attractions.
