Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Egyptthe breakfast choices needed to be revised, especially that we highlighted this many times (especially the bakery section), no place for kids area even if it is with third party service. it will be more nice if the hotel could extend the swimming pool night hours as most of time is so heavily sunny. Executive lounge is not worth it or the buffet needed to completely revamped.
The staff are so amazing, and hotel and room house keeping so perfect! easily access to Emirates mall.

NetherlandsCommunication.
Let's start with the check in, generally the checking was good and fast, only the receptionist gave little information about the facilities and breakfast times. We were allocated a room on the 8th floor so faced the back of the hotel and the problem was they were doing renovations at the back of the hotel and this caused a lot of noise for the first two nights. We made this known to the reception after two nights and they assigned us a new room on the 6th floor and this room was much newer and we were looking at the front of the hotel. What we regretted was the fact that we were first assigned a room that was very old and dilapidated and that looked out to the back of the hotel where they were busy with renovations. One afternoon we wanted to go swimming with our son and we were told by the reception that the swimming pool was closed due to a private party. My son cried a lot that day. This private party was not made known to us in advance . I made this known to the hotel and the hotel compensated this matter with a free dinner in the hotel and we really liked this. In general I can say that despite some setbacks I can recommend this hotel and give it a 9. I would have liked to give a 10, but things like not announcing in advance of closing the swimming pool for a private party still cost this hotel one point.

KuwaitThe extra blanket is rough and uncomfortable. Also, there is no easy way to connect HDMI to the bedroom TV, it is only available in the living room’s TV.
The entire staff is friendly, professional and helpful, I had a great time in the hotel. Thank you to all the staff without exception, for providing excellent quality service in a timely manner. The hotel has a very wonderful location, attached to the mall of the Emirates, and it has a wonderful café on the ground floor, and a great restaurant on the second floor with a delicious Arabic cousin.

QatarThe receptionists, while checking in and checking out very clearly, are not aligned. Which caused issues with my stay impacts on my enjoyment with my family. Also, the receptionist refused to provide me with a hard copy of my invoice and offered to send an electronic copy via email " I haven't received it yet and I'm still chasing it because I believe I was over charged and paid more than I suppose to pay " already more than 24hr and the hotel representatives are reluctant to provide me with the invoice. Their reason is that the invoice already had been sent to me, but that's not true, and I even asked them to resend it again, but it didn't happen yet. I really like the hotel, but the way I have been treated by the receptionist was very bad.
The rooms i booked were great. The housekeeping team has been very helpful and kind. Hotel attached to the Emirates Mall.
