How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

A little bit dated in the room. Floor of the shower and shower heads needs attention to - they were falling off/worn. Didn't realise it was a Russian based package destination.
The cleaner on the 8th floor was very nice. Spoke to us each day and asked us if we needed anything always. Bed was comfortable. Pool was decent.

Door on the bathroom is literally rotting. WiFi is awful.

Room was too basic and seemed old - the corner ones facing the road. The other ones seemed much better.
Great location and staff (Andy was really helpful and awesome - he was kind to help sort a tour booking done through the hotel).

The bathroom was not that clean, I think the hotel needs a renovation, furnitures are a bit old school and restaurant may need more child friendly food. We got baby cot but only after checking in despite we noted this request upon reservation. I expected it to be in the room by the time we arrive.
Apartment was spacious, food was ok and the hotel is a good one price-value wise. Well equiped, close to Marina. Free pool.

It would be great to renovate some rooms.
I'd like to thank to Mohiuddin, who was doing cleaning our room during the whole time of our staying, he is doing great job! And also most of staff is very friendly and eager to help, that what makes our staying comfortable.

WiFi can be hit or miss: Worked beautifully some times, and at other times it was slow and sluggish. Location is at the highway, which can cause issues with traffic noise, but the windows shield a lot of noise on the other hand.
Great location near Dubai Marina Mall, friendly staff, reasonable prices. Liked it, will return. Great place for staying for shorter periods of time, very well located re Metro and Tram. Environment is noisy, but this is manageable from within the room (the windows shield a lot of noise).

US shower in wall, not possible to wash your hair only)

It's bit expensive

Cleaner sometimes knocking people up 9am morning. No bar on site where other hotels for same price. Sound proofing on windows of my room Room was dated and needed to be updated. No smoking area on smoking floors

1- At the morning always had nose due to cleaning 2- wifi was so bad 3- smell of corridors not good 4- asked to one hour extension during checkout they accepted but at 12:00 pm called again to make sure u will leave after one hour

You must understand this is not fancy hotel, it's quite basic, but a location and price are good. Windows facing a street (side-view to the street), so you might hear a traffic noise.
It was my second visit to this hotel. Best part of this hotel is a location - metro and tram station are very close. Also easy to walk to the beach and they offer free shuttle bus to the beach in the morning. Also price was good compared to the other hotels.
