Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

IndiaThe staff was unaware about my booking, infact my messages on booking went un responded. Once at the counter they had to hunt for my booking. The staff did not seem happy doing their job. Also the Kitchen area lacked proper arrangements of appliances. I had to ask them to get me pans and pots to cook as they don't keep it ready on occupancy. No charging points close to bed and the points near study table were poorly allocated. Swimming pool was not temperature controlled and the timings set were out of my usage hours.. it's obvious for any travel to love around during the day while the pool or facilities to be available before the day starts and when the day ends.
Location is a 5 minutes walk to Al Fahidi (Sharaf DG) metro. Spacious and maintained rooms.

Studio rooms are very comfortable and have all the facilities like kitchen with all utensils, big refrigerator, own, and stove. Very specious room with connection to other room also.

PakistanThe cleanliness wasn't up to the mark. I spotted a cockroach in the bathroom The flush system in the bathroom wasn't working properly but upon complaining they just ignored it. The housekeeping are not allowed to wash plates, glasses or cups. They just leave everything unwashed. The bed and pillows were extremely low quality and uncomfortable.
